Emma didn't get it, I wanted to go to the dance with her! Not Kirsten! Yes, Kirsten was very pretty, she was the captain of the cheer leading squad, but she was prissy and stuck up. One of the girls that knew that she was hot. I hated girls like that. I just nodded my head, hoping that she wouldn't see right through me. "And we could double date!" Emma said.

"With who?" I asked.

"Elijah and I!" She said. I rolled my eyes.

"He hasn't even asked you!"

"I know, but we are dating, so don't you think that would make sense?" Emma asked.

"Emma, I don't even want to think about that right now, for all we know you two could have a disastrous break up!" I pointed out.

"Alex, you aren't planning anything are you?" Emma asked me.

"No!" I stood up for myself.

"Just making sure," Emma said.

"Well, you know I still like you, so I don't want to talk about this..." I said and dropped the conversation. Emma looked confused.

"Alex," She said.

"What, I'm just telling you, I don't want to fight again..."

"I know, but this is something we have to be open about," Emma said.

"Well, I don't want to be!" I said. Then I walked to my locker to grab a dollar to put in the vending machine so I could have an energy drink. Emma followed me to my locker. "You want a dollar?" I asked her. She took one so she could get something to drink too.

"Thanks."

"Yep," I replied and I got what I wanted and walked outside. There was a group of boys playing football.

"Yo, Alex, come play with us!" My friend Sam called to me.

"Do you mind?" I asked Emma.

"Go right ahead," Emma said. I only asked her because I was one of the only people that would talk to her. I ran out into the field and was happy that I got to go against Elijah, get out some of my frustration.

"Blue! Blue fourty-two, blue fourty-two, set, hike!!" The quarter back on my team said. I laid out Elijah the first time and walked back like I was a rockstar. I looked up at Emma who was sitting on the hill looking at us, and made kind of a That's gonna hurt in the morning look. I smiled and shrugged and I could see Emma laugh.

Elijah came over and tackled me. He looked me in the eyes. "That's my girl, you don't even think to look at her!" What the heck! I thought to myself. Did he really just do that to me, talk about childish!

The next play I decided to get all my frustration out that I had inside of me. I thought about the day that Emma stood me up for Elijah, Emma and Elijah dating, Emma and Elijah kissing, and them going out for two months straight. I then laid him out so hard. I stood up and Elijah was still on the ground.

"Dude, you okay?" people around us were saying.

"Elijah?" I said, hoping that I didn't kill him. He moved his arm and I took a breath of relief that he wasn't dead. Thank the Lord!

"You okay?" I asked him. A teacher then busted out of the door from the building.

"What happened?" Our teacher asked.

"We were just playing football and I think Alex knocked him out," Trevor said. I sighed.

"I didn't mean to hurt him..." I said. "That bad..."

"We need to get him to a hospital, he is unconscious," our teacher said. "Alex Turner, to the principle's office, now!"
