Emma

"Do you want some water?"  I asked Elijah, who was sitting on his bed with his hand on his fore head.

"Sure," He replied. I walked out of him room and into the kitchen. His mom was standing there.

"It is very nice to meet you," She said to me.

"Yeah, I'm glad I got the chance," I replied.

"How is he doing?" She asked me stirring something in a frying pan.

"He has a head ache, and he wants some water, is there a glass anywhere?" I asked.

"Yeah," She grabbed a cup from a cupboard above her head. "Here you go," She handed it to me, full of water.

"Thank you," I said and slipped out of the kitchen. I walked back into Elijah's room and sat down at his bed.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah, the doctor said I should start to feel normal around tomorrow," He smiled at me.

"Do you think Alex did this on purpose?" I asked him, curious.

"Don't say that Emma," Elijah said to me.

"Why not, it wouldn't make any sense for him not to be the one to do this on purpose," I said. "He is always ranting on how much he hates you, so why wouldn't he?"

"Emma, he didn't do it on purpose!" Elijah said to me.

"Well, I won't believe it until I know he can prove it to me..." I said and looked at Elijah.

"Can you get a cold rag for my head?" He asked me. I walked out of the room, for the fifth time I had been there and got a cold rag for his head.

"Here you go," I gave it to him. Then I couldn't tell if he fell asleep or not, but I decided to leave.

"I'm leaving, see you tomorrow my love," I smiled and walked out of the room. "By Mrs. Pike, it was nice to meet you!" I said as I walked out. She turned around towards me.

"Oh it was great meeting you as well! See you soon!" She waved at me and I walked out of the house. I didn't know how far my house was from here, so I walked in the direction of the school. Then it started to rain, just my luck I though to myself.

I hoped that Alex didn't do that to Elijah on purpose. I really did hope, I don't know how I would react if he did it on purpose. I would definitely have to re-think out friendship.

When I got home  it was almost eight o'clock. I walked in the door and my mom screamed at me for at least half an hour before my dad told her to give it a break. She walked into her room with one hand on her head and the other one on a bottle of Advil. My dad sat on the couch next to me. "Where have you been?"

"At the hospital," I answered.

"What?! Who hurt you, what happened?!" He said grabbing my arm to check for bruises. I pulled away.

"No, it was my friend Elijah, Alex gave him a concussion..." I said.

"What, Alex Alex?" He asked me.

"Yes, Alex," I sighed.

"Well did he do it on purpose?"

"I don't know..." I said honestly.

"Well, why don't you get ready for bed and we can talk more about this later," He said to me.

"Okay," I walked up to my room.

"Oh, wait, I got you something today!" He jumped up. I wondered what he got me, I already had everything that I wanted. He gave me a small box like shape that was wrapped in pink wrapping paper. I looked up at him.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Open it!" He said to me. I took the box and I unwrapped it. Then I looked up at him.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" I said to him. I could not believe that he got me an iPhone! I had my own phone now! I could call, and text!

"You're welcome, I just don't want you to be gone without us not knowing where you are, your mother was just about to call the police to report a missing child!" He chuckled and I did a fake laugh too.

"Thank you!" I said again.

"You're welcome sweet heart!" He looked at me, then I walked up to my room. I decided to put the phone on the charger all night and fiddle around with it in the morning.

Yes! I have my own phone now!
