Last Chapter:
"You looked like you had fun." Perci said smiling cheekily at the prince.
He glared at her but kept his mouth shut, Prince Torve was covered in slime, paint, sparkles, rotten food, water, etc. He looked like a dumpster diver, he grumbled when he pulled an egg shell of his hair, "next river or creek we are stopping and I'm washing this all off Peppy.
She shrugged, "my names Perci, Princey Wincey, not Peppy. but sure, you smell like rotten food."
He glared at her, but it was utterly missed among his hilarious state.
She patted him lightly on the shoulder, before wiping of the gross mix that got on her hands on the ground, "the first steps to humility are always the hardest."
He groaned face palming. She didn't have the heart to tell him he just got brown paint smudged all over his face because of that.
Now:
It was maybe a few hours after the whole ghost thing.
Prince Torve didn't seem really happy yet. He was pouty and grouchy. It was kinda annoying. Well it would be very any one else around Percy, but she was estatic. Wouldn't you be? If the famous play boy, finally stopped flirting with anything that resembled a female?
Perci was practically skipping with glee, the large backpack on her back bouncing.
Looking on the map she estimated they were less than a days journey from the edge of Naeser territyor, the land of the dark elves. "Let's go Prince Torve we're almost there. How are you even tired yet? We've only been walking a few hours!"
Prince Torve glared at the superpowered 'mortal', "I am carrying a very heavy broadsword, and it is not comfortable at all!"
She raised an eyebrow at him unimpressed, she walked a little faster just to irk him as he had to stay caught up, "and you think this backpack is comfortable? You think this backpack is light? You're an elf! You should be infinitely stronger than a mortal!"
"Well you're not a normal mortal!" He retorted.
She rolled her eyes and re-adjusted the backpack straps, trying to take all the heavy weight off of it, "well that's obvious."
"And that backpack is probably super light!"
Perci stopped abruptly and dropped the bag on the ground. She glared at him, "you try to lift it up."
"I ain'"
"Who said you were gonna carry it? I told you to lift it up! So lift it up and prove to me that its 'super' light." Her eyes started to glow black again. Once he saw that he nodded quickly, and rushed to pick up the bag. He tried to lift it with one hand, but he just shifted it over.
He glared at the bag, and tried to lift it with two hands, of course this time he was able too, "geez. What's in this stupid thing?"
"Exactly. It's not light." Perci retorted, she picked the backpack up and continued walking. Though he didn't let her see it (or so he thought) he was practically gawking at her strength. Perci rolled her eyes, "it has all of our supplies, medical kit, food, etc. And yes I know its heavy, how do you think I feel?"
