"My Mind Hurts"

Perci couldn't remember much from when she passed out to where she was now.

She could recollect walking up several times, but each time beaten down or hit again, nothing was making sense and her entire body hurt and felt bruised. The hole in her stomach seemed to have been roughly and crudely sowed up. Perci Jackson was sure that the wound would get infected and cause her even more pain.

Slowly she opened her eyes again, instantly grabbing her stomach to try to lessen the pain, only to let out a muffled shriek of pain, she slowly lifted her left hand to her eyesight, it looked shattered and it hurt real bad.

Perci slowly helped herself up, looking around she realized she was in a metal-futuristic-like-room, she assumed she was in a jail cell of sorts on the ship which she had been 'kidnapped' from the planet that was holding her captive.

Her golden orbs looked around for danger only seeing the empty room with a white bed, which she was laying in, slowly getting to her feet and trying not to make to much noise from all the pain her body was in, looking at the state of the white sheets and blanket, she was sure she looked extremely bloody, dirty, and grimy.

As fast as she could without bringing her body more pain, she got to the door, slowly pushing it open, she was surprised it was unlocked, she limped out of the room, only to gasp as she saw the view, Perci was definitely on Corpse's ship, she had exited into a hallway that had a large floor to ceiling window lining it, showing off the beautiful sights of stars and planets as they passed.

Perci wouldn't lie, sure she was scared, but she was more scared that she might leave Eridani. She promised she would come back.

The black haired woman half collapsed against the wall railing, gazing out into space.

She suddenly heard multiple pairs of feet running toward her, she quickly turned around, but all she could see before some one body slammed her into the wall again, causing her to pass out, was the regretful eyes of Cobar, the alien native from the planet she was just on.

As her eyes rolled to the back of her head, she fell into a dream, or at least she thought it was.

Perci watched as another version of herself told a story to a little boy, Perci stood in the shadows watching, unnoticed.

"Persis?" The little boy asked as he was falling asleep, his eyes lidded with sleep.

The woman nodded at the twelve year old boy, "yes Nathaniel?"

He frowned sleepily, "I told you not call me that," 'Persis' rolled her eyes playfully, a small smile on her face, and gestured for the little boy to continue, "why are you and momma fighting? Is it because of your job in Gotham?"

The blue eyed beauty sighed, kissing the boy on the forehead and tucking him in, "you see little brother, our Mother thinks that just because she said so, I have to agree. Your father, Paul, is a wonderful man, but she can't expect me to want to take his last name just because she said so. And like you noticed, she also doesn't like that I work in such a bad city. There's other little things but don't worry about it, alright?.
