DEDICATED TO @Dragonborn80 who counted 112 greats on the chapter; Princey Wincey: Part 4. Completely surprising me on a really boring day, so thank you!

Perci lay on the cot she was given, facing up and staring into nothing, blinking owlishly. It had been a few days since she had woken up. The American soldiers had given her a change of clothes, and she had been mostly patched up, the wounds would sadly take much longer to heal in this world as the Fates had repressed her powers on this world.
She blew a piece of her short light blonde hair out of her face.
They were going to send her and Eridani to America. But she was stuck with an accent, which was a real pain. The fates said they were sending her to University, so she guessed she needed to pick a degree. Before... everything happened, she would have happily chosen something to do with water. Maybe marine biology or something similar, to be able to study fish. But now, she wasn't sure. Her life didn't revolve around water anymore. She had so much more potential, and Perci wasn't sure what she would do with it. The fates weren't joking when they said, any information she would need would pop up in her head. Both Eridani and her were able to create a believable backstory without even talking about it, and she felt as if she had been stuffed with a whole bunch of highschool knowledge.
So in short she felt kinda smart.
Perci was also a bit excited, she was pretty sure she would be able to use the internet and phones here.
And a bonus; No monsters!
Or at least that's what she hoped.
A knock on the door had her jerking up, tensed. A low chuckle sounded from the door, "calm down kid, it's just me." Perci looked to the door, to see Nathaniel, the nice man who treated her almost like she was his daughter.
Perci smiled and with a strong Greek accent, "hey Nathan!"
He nodded at her, "come on, we need to find your little brother." He turned around, and headed down the hallway, Perci running to catch up with him.
"Any reason why?"
Nathaniel gave a half-shrug, "the higher-ups requested you."
She nodded slowly, following behind him. Perci wore a simple uniform, lent to her from a soldier who was sized similarly to her. In this world, their were way less woman in the army serving as soldiers. Most of them couldn't pass the tests apparently, since to enter, you'd have to pass the same qualifications as the men. This was war, they wanted as few casualties as possible. Thus, most woman were in other positions in the army.
They heard Eridani before they saw him, he was sprinting down the halls, playing tag with a few of the younger infantry men, who were chasing behind him. Perci gave a small grin, before pulling Eri out of the way, causing one of the soldiers who had almost got him to almost crash into the wall. The young man yelled out, "oh come on!"
Perci grinned, fist bumping Eridani. Nathaniel waved them away, "the superiors have requested them. You might have a chance to play latter. Don't let Sergeant Marvels catch you running around and goofing off."
The soldiers waved their goodbyes, a few ruffling Eridani's hair, before the trio continued on their way. Perci and Eridani conversed in Greek, he happily told her about his day and how he had spent it running around and getting in trouble, almost setting off a grenade. You know. The usual. Though it almost seemed to the Americans like the two had no trauma from the battle, but sometimes when everything was quiet, or the Greek siblings thought nobody was paying attention, an almost haunted look came over them. What the Americans didn't know, was that the mini escapade they had participated in, had brought up bad memories. For Perci it was of the wars she had participated and Gabe Ugliano, and for Eridani it was of the many years he had spent in the prisons of the Dark elves.
