Perci pulled Eridani closer into her side as the reporters yelled and screeched like animals and birds, trying to get the Greek siblings' attention.
"Perci Moirai! How do you-"
"Where-"
"How does it feel to be the only survivors?!"
"Where is your fami-"
"...tell us."
Perci squeezed Eridani's shoulder as they continued to yell, the law enforcement officers slowly directed them through the large crowd of people, causing the boy to look up at his 'older sister'. She gave him a small smile and whispered over the yelling, "watch this."
He raised an eyebrow.
She began waving her hand like she was a queen, or a princess, hand in a cupped shape, moving it stiffly from side to side with the biggest smirk on her face. Causing Eridani to let out a few giggles.
One of the officers let out a laugh, "your doing good, make sure you look your best as your faces will probably be on every news outlet and TV out there. Outside and inside of America."
"So everyone will see it?" A few officers stumbled in surprise in hearing the eldest Greek sibling speak in English with her strong accent, "that gives us a better chance to find our family right?"
"Well- um if they uh... if they did make it out, of course..."
Eridani shrugged sadly, "she's just messing with you."
"We're like ninety-nine percent sure everyone we knew is dead." Perci ran a hand through her short light blonde hair, "saw most of them die too, so that helps."
"Isn't that traumatizing?" The same officer who spoke in the beginning asked.
"It is." She tilted her body to the right, and away from a mic that had gotten through the police that surrounded them, the reporter was quickly pushed away. "But what can we do? For now, we can just pretend it never happened."
Eridani nodded in agreement.
Nobody said anything else as the duo were quickly ushered into an ambulance that left hastily heading to a nearby hospital, the paramedics were quick to begin checking over the siblings, making sure that Perci's stitches hadn't ripped and so on.
Goldenseal runway and Arizona 003, you will not be missed.
Right now Perci was just tired of being prodded and poked by doctors and nurses, and wanted to sleep, Eridani had somehow been able to nod off, falling asleep on Perci's shoulder. Since she couldn't move, Perci looked out the tinted window. Watching the trees and grass turn into suburbs, which then turned into the city. The ambulance flew by streets, civilians and buildings. And Perci, in all her golden-eyed greatness, could hear multiple ambulances either behind or ahead of them, all seemingly rushing in the same direction.
