But as soon as he felt Apollo's aura they both instantly stopped and turned to him, the campers stayed back but he could see Miranda Gardiner, Connor Stoll and their allies watching him, along with the little girl, Iris, the girl Miranda had saved weeks back from an abusive family. Chiron was there also but Apollo ignored him, stopping in front of the two gods, "I'm done."
Dionysus snorted, "you lasted longer than any of us. What happened?"
Apollo snorted, his aura slightly relaxing, "doesn't matter. Let's just say I'm done and that's it." His eyes glanced at Hestia who was watching him with raised eyebrows.
She smiled slightly, "You need somewhere to go?"
He shrugged, "I don't plan to be in the mortal world for the rest of eternity."
"What do you think of Hades?"
"Cool guy. Better than Zeus for goodness sakes." Apollo told her.
Suddenly a voice yelled out from the crowd, which could hear everything that was happening as the gods weren't even trying to be quiet. The minor god of flight, Jason, "Hey how dare you say that?! That's my father you're talking about!"
Apollo twisted around with lightning speed, eyes glowing an angry dead black, "He's my father too, brother. And I promise you, you aren't any better than him."
Hestia placed a hand on Apollo's shoulder, calming him down, "Hades would be happy to take you, I've talked to him recently and he offered those like you who needed it. Come on, I'll take you."
He smiled gratefully at her before they disappeared, the mortals quickly hiding their eyes from the flashes, Apollo appeared in the underworld. It was beautiful, in a sick way.
And that is how he spent the next few years, rarely returning to the surface and never to Olympus. He visited his uncle, Poseidon quite a few times and all the others, even fighting a mortal war with Ares. But he refused to have any interactions with his sister or the others who had opposed the daughter of Poseidon, Perci...
Over the years, his opinions began to change about her and with his head clear from the sickness that is Olympus, he realised she was his soulmate.
From there, he would beg the fates for a chance to see Perci before doing his own thing, making sure the sun rose and fell. Continuing his duties, but instead of informing Zeus (who never cared and disregarded his opinion) of what he saw of the future, he told Hades. With the blessing of Hades on his side, he was able to take action in the surface world. Directing which deaths were a must, which would be a justice compared to what they have done.
He drew the line at when he would only see it in the future, that it could happen. His abilities gave him possibilities, but everything could change so quickly, so easily. It was never a definite. Even if it was to stop a death that would occur in the future he would not do it, for it was not fair to kill them based on a ability he had.
