So I thought most of you guys wouldn't be well-acquainted with the terms used in street racing, so here are some of them.

TERMINOLOGY:

FLAGGERS: The ones who signify the start of the race, usually with flags or a flashlight.

FLASHLIGHT START: In which the start of the race is signified by the use of a flashlight, usually by the flagger.

HANDICAP: The practice of setting out lengths or brackets to provide a headstart to a slower car.

MANAGERS: People who manage the racers, the bets, promotions, racing schedules, cars and installations.

POT/POT MONEY: The amount to be won by the racer who wins.

PINK SLIPS: Racing to win and keep the opponent's car.

PUNK OUT MONEY: For races set up in advance, with ten percent of the pot prize.

RACERS: The ones who usually take part in street races, but normally not in every single one of the races.

RECRUITERS: The ones who go around recruiting potential members for racing and sometimes flagging.

SPRINTS: Point-to-point races, usually not very long, involving only a handful of racers.

THE JUICE/BOTTLE/SQUEEZE: Terms used to refer to Nitrous Oxide.
