However, at that point of time, both of us didn't know...

That promise was going to be broken.

I was strolling in the park, listening to some calmimg music. It was peaceful, at least until, I saw a figure lying on the floor.

It was a boy.

It was a young dying boy, probably diagnosed with the Thana disease.

Shocked, I stared at the boy. He looked like he was struggling to get up. He was semi conscious, his eyelids nearly shut but not just yet.

On seeing me, he opened his mouth, struggling to talk. An open mouth with no words coming out.

And in a matter of a few seconds, his attractive blue eyes turned dark.

And it shut.

He stopped working. His whole body stopped fuctioning.

I froze.

This was how I was going to die.

Thana disease. Paralysed you. Makes you semi conscious. Restricts your breathing. And a minute from death, your heart with start beating slower and slower.
