I handed the earplug to Jackson as I walked away in silence.

"You alright?" Jackson asked as his eyes softened.

I nodded, thanked him then walked away.

"Let's go Xukun," I said as soon as I saw him standing anxiously outside the building.

"Zhangjing, Linkai, Minghao, erm... and Linong, follow me. All of you need a bit more training because you've been slacking these few days. Ziyi, Yanjun and Zhengting, go to sheep. Section 3 and 7. I'll text you what I need. Xukun... you can spend time with Valarie," Cheng Cheng commanded as he strode off, the rest following behind.

"Where do you what to go?"

"To the club, sixth section,"

"You sure? There is very dangerous,"

"You're with me, it's alright, isn't it?"

"I guess,"

"Don't drink anything when I'm not here, I'll be right back, just going to the washroom," Xukun commanded as he hurriedly ran away.

"Another glass?" The bartender asked as I nodded. He slid another glass, an even bigger one, to me.

"Come on, one shot," he encouraged as I did what he said.

"Why... does this taste different? It tastes alcoholic,"

I felt my world spinning as my body temperature rose. My head hurt. My vision and hearing was all fuzzy.

"Han Mubo! What did you do to her?" I heard an unclear voice shout.

"Nothing, just gave her the Marabito,"

"Are you fucking crazy? You better scram before I kill you, Han Mubo,"

"Val, my Val. Come on, let's go,"

I felt a pair of arms lifting me up as I said, "Xukun... it's so... so so hot,"

"It's what the Marabito does to you, it brings warmth to your body,"

"It's so hot.... help me Xukun,"

"Or is it cause you're here?"

Perspiration was trickling down my forehead as my breaths got heavier and heavier.

"Yeah. It's hot cause a hot guy is here," I giggled.

"Fuck, let's rush home, you're heating up and terribly drunk," he said as he placed me in his car and sped home.

I was breathing heavily all the way and even with the strong blast of the air conditioner, I was still sweating and groaning.

"I feel like I'm on fire damn, damn Cai Xukun, it's your fault," I moaned as Xukun picked me up again.

"Yeah, it's my fault," he panted.

"I'm going to put you in a air conditioned room at 10°C, alright?"

"Ooo fun! Will you be waiting outside?"

"Heck no, I'm not. I'm following you inside Val,"

"Do-Don't... your hotness will go away," I mumbled, my body getting weaker.

"Let's go," he said firmly as he carried me into his room.

"Wait, Xukun," I said as my vision cleared.

"Don't! Let me go in myself," I felt myself getting sober as the throbbing pain in my head lessened.

"No," he said without hesitation as both of us crawled onto his bed.

"Sheesh. It's really cold, are you alright?"

"Yea-Yeah, cause you're here," Xukun replied.

I could see his teeth chattering as I embraced him.

"Wha-What are you doing?" He stuttered.

"Giving you warmth,"

I wrapped my arm around his shoulder as he lied down on my bossom.

"Is it better?" I asked as he gulped, muttering a "yes,"

"Wait. No, don't. You're drunk, I feel like I'm taking advantage of you,"

"I'm sober, Xukun," I said.

We stayed there in silence, with my arms around his body, radiating warmth to him.

"I love you so much, Xukun. So so much," I said as my hands ran through his hair and traced his jawline.

He suddenly got up and got off the bed.

"Don't love me, angel. Don't,"
