"What should we do?" I hummed after a moment of silence.

"Come here angel," he said as he beckoned for me to come closer.

I crawled my way towards him as his arms snaked around my shoulder. I shuddered at first touch but snuggled into his chest soon after.

"We just, rest. Talk. Laugh. We have plenty of time, til it's tomorrow anyways,"

Problem is, I don't even know whether I'll be alive tomorrow.

"Angel, calm down, don't be so tense," he laughed as his fingers ran through my long hair. I took a deep breath in and out, as he laughed.

"Val, my adorable angel,"

"Sto-Stop it August," I choked out.

He hummed, confused.

"Stop... that,"

"Stop flirting, you mean?"

"Yeah. Yeah, that's what I meant," I gulped.

"You're adorable," he giggled.

I looked up, his grey orbs stating right into my plain, black ones.

My breath hitched as his other arms snaked around my waist, my face pressed against his buff chest.

"Get some rest, angel,"

"Get some rest..."

Those were the words he said before sleep engulfed me.

A nightmare.

Engulfed me.

"Xukun, Cheng Cheng!" I screamed.

"Go! Run away! And never come back!" Tears flowed down my face, half from the panic and half from the smoke entering my widened eyes.

"Sacrificing yourself for your two friends? A loyal little soul, aren't you?" A voice laughed.

I woke up in a shock.

"Xukun. Xukun.." I mumbled.

"Sorry?" August raises his eyebrows.

"I had this dream. No, nightmare, about a fire. There was a boy called Xukun and Cheng Cheng,"

August seemed to tense up before he took a deep breath.

"Just get some sleep Valarie, I- uh- need it to meet Cheng Cheng for a while,"

"Meet Cheng Cheng?"

"You heard wrongly, I said meet Mr Zhang," he said after jumping in shock.

"Eh... yeah you should know him right? Our president,"

"Oh yeah. Um, alright go..."

"Wait, can you sta-stay with me til I fall asleep?"

"Of course angel, anything for you,"

"Sweet dreams," he stroked my hair as I fell into dreamland.
