"Valarie?" Cheng Cheng questioned.

"You're still here huh,"

"Uh, yeah. I decided, can I live here?"

"How about your runaway project with Xukun?" Cheng Cheng raised his eyebrows.

"He gets a death sentence when found if he runs away, doesn't he? I'm not running away, I don't want him to die,"

"But you are too,"

"Don't hide it from me, they're working a cure for the Thana disease,"

"It's may not work though. It's only an experiment,"

"There's still a 40% chance of it working,"

"Oh, so Xukun decided to tell you everything? You decided to trust him after his lies?"

"You never know what else he's hiding buttercup," he smirked before walking off. I felt a burning feeling in my heart, oh, I hated him so much. To his cocky smile, and his cutting words, even to his handsome face, I hated it all.

"You find him handsome? How about me?" Minghao suddenly said, making me jump.

"Minghao! How long have you been standing here?"

"Long enough to overhear your conversation with Cheng Cheng,"

"So? Am I more handsome than him?" Minghao grinned.

"You were speaking your thoughts out loud, so I knew,"

"Hm?" I said as I turned around. Minghao gave me a tiny smirk and left.

"Are you alright with staying at home? By yourself?"

"You're my baby," Xukun said. I blushed, muttering "bu-"

"You all are so cringe worthy, ew," Zhangjing interrupted.

"As if you don't do that with Yanjun," Xukun glared at him.

"Let's go eat now, I'm hungry,"

"Not everyone is such a foodie like you, You Zhangjing," I laughed.

"Stop teasing me!" He cried. The three of us burst into laughter on seeing Zhangjing's expressions.

"Alright, let's just go and stop teasing him," Yanjun laughed.
