"Lies, everything are lies," I said as I stormed into Minghao's room with him chasing after me.

"I'm staying camping here today. I'll leave tomorrow," I said as I laid on his couch.

"Take the bed, Valarie. I'll take the couch,"

"Sheesh, it's your room, what do you mean take the bed?" I said as I refused to budge.

"You're... uhh... you sure?"

"Yeah," I said as I watching Minghao climb onto his bed.

We laid there in silence for a while as I rolled around, trying to not fall off the couch.

"Valarie, come here, you look like you're falling off the couch any moment. Let's share the bed,"

"Sleep with each other?" I asked in shock.

"God, we're just best friends, nothing more,"

"Yeah, I guess so," I said as I climbed onto his bed.

"I can't believe that he lied to me though, I trusted him and told him everything about me,"

"Hm? What secrets are you hiding? Other than the fact you're infected?"

"How do you know that?"

"I have my ways Valarie,"

"Oh, question, why are all of you so comfortable with me despite me being infected? And isn't the Thana disease contagious?"

"Hm? Oh, we've seen many infected before, so we're comfortable,"

"I think you meant you kill many infected," I whispered.

"What was that?"

I shook my head, urging for him to continue.

"And the 99 of us, including the officials and Mr Zhang, all ate some pill so that we are immune to any virus,"

"Is that why Ruibin, Quanzhe, Zeren, Xinchun and Wenjun doesn't get infected too?"

Justin nodded.

"But back to your man,"

"He's not my man, he's a liar," I said through gritted teeth.

"I'm sure he has a reason too. I trust Kun ge, I think you should too,"

"Do you know how many times he lied to me? He lied to me, saying we'll take a walk, and then he brought me here, he said to come in for a cup of tea, and in the end I got trapped here. He said that he was forced to, but in the end he came here with his own will, he said his father would disown him, but actually his father didn't want him to join, he's a liar, that I don't want to believe any more words of his,"

"Bu-"

Just as he was about to say something, Cheng Cheng came bursting in.

"What are you doing in Justin's bed buttercup-"

"None of your concern. What do you want?" Minghao questioned.

"Just telling you that we have a mission tomorrow. All 9 of us,"

"What about Valarie?"

"She can go home, actually. Unless you'd rather stay here?"

"I'll go home,"

"Uh, and call Zhengting and tell him too. I'll go to Zhangjun's and Zikun's room to tell them, Valarie can go Nongkai's,"

"I'll tell Zikun. Valarie can tell Zhengting and Zhangjun, and you tell Nongkai," Justin said before Cheng Cheng hesitated before nodding.

I headed through the door which connects Justin's room with Zhengting's.

"Zhengting?" I called as he looked up from his device.

"Were you camping in Justin's room again?" I nodded before conveying the message Cheng Cheng said to.

"Noted. And uh, Valarie,"

"Are you really going back tomorrow? And not giving Xukun a chance to explain himself before you leave?"

"I had enough with his lies. I had enough with him, I'll leave the first thing in the morning. So goodbye, Zhengting. I'll miss you,"

He nodded, "I understand. I'll miss you Valarie,"

I did the same to Zhangjing and Yanjun, them saying the same thing like giving Xukun a second chance.

"I'm sorry, no will do. Bye, I'll miss you two, you foodie and you flirt," I smiled as I left.

And that was probably the last time I saw them.

Like I promised, I woke up at dawn and grabbed my already packed bags.

"Valarie?" Minghao asked in a husky voice, probably awoken by the noise I was making.

"Go back to sleep Minghao, I hope our paths will meet again,"

"Wait, Valarie," he said as he stood up and embraced me.

"I'll miss you,"

"Me too, Minghao, me too," I choked back the tears.
