A/N Hey guys, I hope you love the story so far, I know that it's kind of like the real "The Hunger Games" book, but I promise the second training and the interviews start It won't be close to the same except for a few major events!

Portia, the lead of my prep team, had me dressed in a Black suit. Cinna Katniss' dresser talked to us about a fake flame he was going to set on our outfits. Katniss is acting like she's not scared but I can tell that she is! We quickly load into our chariots and start walking down the Capitols isle. Everyone screamed when they saw us. I couldn't think of a reason that they wouldn't, Katniss was standing next to me wasn't she? I reached for her hand but she pulled it away. Idiot.

"Come on Kat." I told her. " They will love it!" I assured her she stared at me before taking my hand and holding it in the air. We quickly reached the end of the room and president Snow gave a brief introduction before dismissing us to go to sleep. I didn't see Katniss the rest of that night until I heard the door slam. I checked the time, it was one o' clock in the morning. I grabbed a broken glass that Haymitch our mentor had dropped when he was drunk. I slowly crept outside of my room and in the living room someone grabbed my arm and I flinched.

"Easy Peeta!" a familiar voice told me. I spun around. It was Katniss.

" I promise you I'm not always this scared." She hugged me. At first I was confused but then I wrapped my arms around her.

"Tomorrow in practice, I'm going to cream you. No of fence." She told me and struted to her room.

"Don't show your strengths!" I yelled at her.

"Make me!" she answered before slamming the door so loud my ears were still ringing when I woke up. For breakfast we had pancakes and waffles with whipped cream and strawberries. Then Portia picked out a training outfit for me to wear to our first open training session before the games. Tomorrow we had interviews with Ceaser Flickerman. He was a hunger games crazed man who clearly lived in the Capitol. When we walked in Katniss walked straight over to the career pack, who where all training with the swords, and I headed off toward the camouflage area. I couldn't help but keep looking t her, she was showing all of her talents to the career pack. THE CAREERS OF ALL PEOPLE KNOW KATNISS' STRENGTHS NOW!!! Wait, but Katniss its best with a bow, she'd been acting like a moron at it for twenty minutes now, Cato kept showing her how but no matter how hard she fake tried she couldn't do it. Wait... Why was Cato helping her. I quickly walked into different line to look like I was keeping busy, and I also needed to see this at a better angle.  When I was first in line was not concentrated. I fell after the first ring. It was basically monkey bars and I fell! Katniss walked over to me.

"See that big metal over there?" she asked and I nodded. "Throw it!" I started to object.

"The careers are talking about you like your a meal, does it look like I care what Haymitch said? No, so do what I say and throw it!" she told me and walked away. I saw her say the word freak to the other careers and they went on talking about me. I slowly walked up to the metal ball and picked it up. Everyone was watching me and laughing to one another. I threw it as far as I could and it hit the wall on the other side of the room. The Careers flinched, and I looked at them. Katniss smiled a little but covered it up. I smiled back and moved on to the next station. After training me and Katniss rode on the elevator together.

"Thanks for today," I told her smiling.

"No problem, but next time your not getting any help, I need to get back to Prim and my mother and I  don't care what I have to do to get there." Katniss told me. Ding, went the elevator and she walked off somewhere.

Katniss is acting different its so strange!
