dilute every broken note
that falls from the mouths
of sinners.they don't mean to snap at you
or twist your eyes shut
it's just an old habit that's lived
through her father and his father
it's just a memory
she can't help
but savor
every time your eyes meet
sun
she needs to be there with
night.we're only children
after all.
