Both Stefan's and Elena's parents are still alive and they're normal teenagers in 9th grade(14). Jeremy is a year younger(13) and Damon is 6 years older(20) than Stefan and they're super close. Bonnie is an adopted child by the Gilbert's and she knows including everyone, but she's completely fine with it.
