Birthday Girl pt. 2

Continuation ...

Actually Bonnie and Damon gets here in a few minutes. And we have an hour left. The table is set as if we're gonna actually have dinner. So the plan is that when the Gilbert's arrives I'll go outside to greet them and talk with Elena outside to distract her for a bit while her family gets into position. Then we'll act like there's a power outage; and turn off the inside lights including the outsides. Then we'll walk in to see what's going on. Only for the lights to switch on and everybody yells out surprise. Probably too much. Hahaha. It's fine.

The doorbell rings. I open it up and it's Damon and Bonnie. I indulge my brother in a hug that lasted a few seconds before I introduced myself to Bonnie. "Stefan's The name. You can call me Stef." I Said. "Bonnie. Bon for short." "I've missed you bro. It's a bit different around here. But I ain't lonely tho. Thnx to Lena." I Said with a smile. "I can tell how much you like her." Bonnie said. "I missed you too little bro." I give him one last hug before I direct them to their rooms with their bags. Since Bon is sleeping over. I tell her to wait with Damon in his room after I go through the plan. Which is to bring her out when things start to calm down. And it's basically a surprise for everyone because they all know Bon, but I'm the only one who knows she's here.

I have a half hour before Lena gets here. I got her a few presents. I hope she likes it. I'll give it to her after everybody leave. Oh and I'm having a few of our sleepover so the celebration of her birthday could be longer. And I decided to invite Jer since Kol (they're best friends) is coming too.

Everyone is finally here. We're all quietly having our own conversations amongst each other. "The Gilbert's are pulling up!!!" I hear someone yell. Then people all rush into place. My parents are next to the light switches. I see that everyone is ready so I walk outside to greet them. "Stefan! My boy. How you been?" Grayson said. "Amazing Gigi! You?" I said while laughing at his nickname. They join in. I'm great." I hug them one by one. Not Elena tho, at least not yet. But she looked stunning. that white short dress fits her well. It's all natural too. Like I said we decided to just wear comfortable clothes.
"I was wondering if I could talk to you before we go in?" I ask her. And it's a signal for the others to go inside. I pull her close to me and give her a big hug. "Big 15 huh?" I Said while pulling away. I noticed they're already inside. "I just wanna say something." She said. "Go ahead." I say with a smile. "Stefan since you came into my life I've been the happiest I've ever been in a long time. And I just wanted to thank you for that." She said. And I'm damn near tears. I pull her close to me again and push her hair behind her ear and slowly move my hand back down to her cheek. She closes her eyes. I lean in and kiss her. I have this feeling that's unexplainable. But I feel it whenever I see her. Kiss her.

We back away then we talk a little bit more. The lights go off and she jumps because it's pitch black out here. "What the hell was that?" She asked. "I don't know let's go check it out." I interviewed our hands and start walking to the front door. And when I open it we can't see a thing. "Stefan I'm scared." She whispered. "You're okay I'm here." I Said completely forgetting everyone was there. I pull her into my chest for a quick hug. Then all of a sudden the lights go on and...'SURPRISE!!!" She covers mouth in shock then looks at me then back at the crowd where they are starting to come up to her and wish her a happy birthday. Which is just great giving me enough time to go upstairs and tell Damon and Bon to wait for the call on the stairs that leads to the kitchen so I can make the announcement there.

"Okay I'm gonna announce you first D. To act like that was the surprise. No offense..." "none taken little bro." He said. "...then I'm gonna call you down ok Bon." "You are a genius Stef." She said happily. And hugs me tightly.
