Sophmore Year pt. 2

One week later...

Third Person POV:

They've successfully gone a week without talking to each other. Well Elena tried, but Stefan couldn't deal with it. So for the first week back to school after that weekend it was awkward. He never once looked at her because it hurt. Because the first and last time he did look at her she looked beyond sad and tired? Yea.

The next Monday she tried to talk to him but he only made excuses or just left.  And he recently got his drivers license. So that was another way too leave faster. That kept on to the third week now she hadn't gone to school because she feels too guilty of what had happened between them. And she misses him more then anything.

Stefan's POV:

Lena hasn't been too school all week. And it's Friday. I asked Caroline how she was doing and she said Lena has the flu so she had to stay home. I- I need to go check on her. I mean should I? Yup yes you're doing it. I've cleared things up with Tyler. And made it clear to be the last time it happened.

Honestly the reason it took me too long to talk to her was because it hurt just looking at her. But now, now I miss seeing her angelic face and soft voice. With them beautiful brown eyes looking at me. So I've finally decided on going to visit her.

First I call her Mom. She didn't seem mad at me because she knew what happened with Tyler. "How's she doing?" I asked. "Ummm she hasn't  came out of her room in 5 days and she hasn't eaten anything. As much as we offer or ask of what she wants she just tells us to leave her alone." She clearly is worried.

"Do you- would you mind if I came over?" "Of course not. That's perfect actually. Tonight's date night and it's gonna be Elena, Jer with a few of his friends. So you can try to talk to her. Although she hadn't said a whole sentence since Saturday. And I doubt she's sick." She said. " I'll be over around 11 then mom."
"Alright drive safely son." I hang up.

9:50pm

Stefan's POV:

I just finished showering, putting my sweats and hoodie on and now I'm heading out to buy a few things for me and Lena. I decided to buy 2 pizza boxes for Jer. I went to Walmart first and bought a few things I needed and then headed over to Pizza Hut for the pizzas. And then to a few other fast food restaurants.

10:58pm

When I got to the Gilbert's house the living room light was on meaning Jer were playing video games I decided to take the pizzas first. I'll get the other stuff later. Miranda and Grayson had already left. When I got to the front the door it took me literally 2 minutes until I actually knocked.

Jer opened up the door and gave me a hug. "Wassup Stef I missed you." He kept his voice down which was good. "What are you doing here?" He asked. All his friends came up and gave me a starstruck look. "Ohh my-" a kid almost says. But I stop him. "Hey Jer why don't y'all take this and go back to the game. I'm gonna go check on Lena." I hand them the pizza boxes.

They all run back except for Jeremy. "She seems sad. Please make her happy." He looks like he's going to cry. I gave him a quick hug and said, "don't you worry bro. Now go back in there." I watch him run back and then make my way slowly up the stairs.

I make it in front of her room and the lights seem to be off. I've been in her room before. There's a tv and extra couch in there. As much as the room doesn't have much space; it still goes. The couch was right next to the bed in front of the tv. The best part was that it was a pull out couch. Anyways...

I knock softly. "Pleeeaaassseee leave me alone." She sounds out of it, but not sick. I try to open the door but it still doesn't open. She says the same thing again. I reach for the top of the door where she keeps a key on the lip of the door if she had somehow locked herself out. I slowly insert the key and twist it. Once unlocked I knocked again.

Without letting her reply I open the door slowly. She says something and looks up"I sai- Stefan?" She sounds so weak. She's for sure got the flu. What have I done? "Is it really you?" She's about to get up. But I rush over. "Don't. Sit still." I tuck her back in.

"Stef I'm sorry. Pls don't be mad." "I'm not mad Lena." I Said. "I just. I just was really worried so I had to come check. And I've missed you so so much. And I want us to move past this. There's nothing more I want to do, then spend time with you." I hug her and as sick as she is now that I can see, I backed away and leaned in to kiss her. "You're gonna get sick." "I don't mind at all." Our lips finally collide. Damn I've missed this. We're moving in perfect sync.

A few minutes later we decided to watch Disney movies. We set everything up and pull out the couch putting more comforters on there with lots of pillows. "Lena have you really not eaten anything?" She shook her head. "Give me a minute. I need to run to my car to get something real quick." I get up run down the stairs outside to my car. I open up the passenger seat door, grab 4 Walmart bags, 2 McDonald's bag, and a bag of IHOP.

I make my way upstairs and see her on the couch- bed so I laid the stuff in front of her. "Woah that's a lot of bags!!!" She said with this bright smile that could light up a room. I hand her the McDonald's bags and IHOP bags first. "Stef you don't have to worry about me." She looks at me and I look her straight in the eyes. I completely forgot what I was gonna say. So I changed the subject. "You're so beautiful." She grins and throws a pillow at me. "You did not just do that!!" "But I just did."

I softly tackle her on the bed and pin her hands down with one of mine. The other I used to tickle her. "Stefan Stef pls don't do this. Hhahahahaha ste- plsssss" I give her time to breathe then I let her hands go and use 'em to hold myself up. "Whose the most charming guy you've ever seen?! Your only chance." She hugs me and said, "I've missed you Stef, sooo much." "I've missed you too baby. C'mon you need to eat. You sit up and wait. I'll be serving." When she was already sitting and waiting I sat next to her while cutting up the pancakes from IHOP then feeding it to her.

I turned on High School Musical.  After she ate pancakes I grabbed all 4 Walmart bags to show what was in it. I hand her a bag that was too obvious. It was fluffy blanket. And then the second one includes medicine which we'll use before she falls asleep. The third was a big bag full of chips, chocolate, and more candy. The last one had all different drinks.

"Thank u so much babe!!" She gives me a tight hug. And I just noticed. "You're not wearing a sweater my love." "Yea I thought the blankets were enough." She said. "Here wear this." I Said as I take my black hoodie off of me and help her get in it. I tuck her in and then get on the left side of the bed and pull her into me.

And we just watched movies after movies while eating the McDonald's burgers and fries. I feel so much happier than just being here with her instead of moping.
