My family and I decided to throw a party for the New Years. We and by we I mean my mom wanted to make friends and get used to the people of this small town. I've invited my beautiful girlfriend and her family and friends. We asked Damon if he was coming and he said he couldn't. But surely missed us. I know him though, he's probably hanging with that girl Bonnie he talks about a lot. Then my parents invited a few owners of each shop in town. Then our neighbors. I invited my friends over as well.
It's two hours before the party so I decided to take a nap before people arrived. I tell my parents and my mom checked if i was ok then kissed my cheek and told me to go ahead.
When I got to my room I headed straight for my desk for my MP3 player and started listening to songs while laying there slowly falling asleep.
Elena's POV:
We're currently on our way to Stefan's house. I'm so excited to spend New Years with him and some of the people from town. Sometimes I wonder where I would have been if I never met Stef. I probably wouldn't be known as much as I am now. Especially for a freshman in high school. But I'm glad I found him.
We finally arrived to the house with the given address on it. And it's huge and also very modern. You could smell the barbecue in the air. Some people were already here. And if I were to guess I wouldn't say about 20-30 are here but there are probably more coming. We get out and Jeremy and dad got the "drinks" that we were told it was just juice. Mom, Jenna, and I got the cupcakes and a few dishes they made. Even tho Jenna is dads sister she and my mom acts like they're siblings too. Of course I know they're actual laws and they're supposed to get along but most people don't have that. I miss Bonnie. My own older sis. She said she couldn't make it.
Mom knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. Lily opens the door. "What's up M? And Jenna must I say those shorts are pretty high up. Good choice love. Come in y'all and enjoy." Lily ends stepping aside for us to come in. Her and mom are literally best friends. I immediately start looking around for him. I don't see him anywhere. Not even next to the boys. I go up to them. "Hey guys." I Said "Elena, hey" Klaus and Tyler comes up and gives me hugs. While the others just waved. "We haven't seen Stefan if that's what you were gonna ask." Tyler Said. I chuckle and told them I'll go find him.
"Hey Mrs. Salvatore I was wondering where Stef was." I said. "Oh that's right. Hun, he's upstairs taking a nap. Can u go get him it's the top floor and first room to your left. And sweetie please call me Lily or something other then that. It makes me feel old." She said jokingly.
I head for the stairs to the top floor and entered the first door on my left. When I knock I assumed he's still sleeping. Luckily the door was unlocked so I walked in. And to my surprise it was very neat and organized. Not that I didn't know that about Stefan because I've seen his hand writing.But for a guy. (No offense guys) A lot of black. It's masculine. I walk in and see him peacefully sleeping. Awwww. My baby is so cute. Ok I need to stop. It's already dark outside and everybody is keeping themselves company till midnight. It's a beautiful view from his balcony.
