Junior year

Elena's POV:
1 more year. High school is almost over.
I've been getting straight A's lately and I've checked in with Stefan's grades (cause we love a supportive gf) and he has 2 B's the rest are A's. Speaking of Stefan. He's been the best honestly, just amazing. Not a minute goes by where I don't think of him.
His hugs are the warmest and most comfy. I could lay in his arms forever. He Spoils me. And understands when it's "that time" of the month. AND he's a good ass kisser. Gosh that boy could kiss. We never really went to the point where we "did it" yet. I mean I know he's ready, but it's just I'm not sure if I am. And something tells me he knows that as well.

Spring break just ended and its time to get back to them school work. We did our SATs two months ago and now we're on one of our final units of the year(talking about all classes). It's now a Friday and the bell just rang. I walk out of  my Algebra 2 class and start wandering the halls looking for Stefan. Honestly I can never get enough of him. I mean who would? Am I right?! Anyways as I was walking out of school I suddenly feel someone grab me by the waist and pull me towards them. My back is facing him and then I feel his hands slowly rub my hips. "Hi baby." Stefan. I turn around and hug him tightly and then kiss his neck. "I haven't really seen you all day Stefan!" I break the hug and back away folding my hands waiting for his response. "Yea I'm sorry about that, but I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight." He asked. "Yeeeeeessss" I said excitedly.

After school he dropped me of at home and said he'd be back to pick me up for our date at 6, and added that I should wear something casual/comfy and pack extra clothes and a towel. At first I was gonna ask him but decided not to cause I know he wants this to be a surprise. I gladly waved him off and rushed into the house and upstairs to my room. It was already 3 and I need to have a good outfit for tonight. Or maybe a simple long sleeve and jeans will do. I don't know why but I have this good feeling that tonight's the night where we actually say the  words we both have secretly been trying to say through other words. The  words I've been waiting to tell him and for him to say it back.

I'm super duper very much in love with Stefan Salvatore. And I plan on telling him tonight.

Stefan's POV:

Uggghhh. Why are my palms sweating? I got out of the car and rushed into the house. I quickly tell my parents that I'm going on a date with Elena tonight and we're camping. After they give me a nod as permission, I sprinted to my room to grab a few things before heading down to our camp site. Elena doesn't know we're camping that's why I told her to bring extra clothes. It's still might be too cold outside.
When I got to the entrance of the trail I found months ago, I sprinted to check if everything was in place. The tent was set up, and wood that was gonna be used for the fire was all there. Behind the tent we're two coolers with a few items for the date. On the inside of the tent I had like one comforter, two fluffy blankets, and two pillows. And extra towels because we might take a dip in the water while we're here. I even hung lights on the tree using power source from a solar powered battery outlet I brought from home. She's going to want to watch a movie and I have a small surprise for her later.
After making sure everything was ok. I quickly went back to the house to shower and change. It was already 5:15 when I was ready. My extra clothes were already at the site. I pull out my phone and dialed Antonio' s pizzeria to order a box of pepperoni pizza and cheese pizza and some wings and they told me it'll be ready in 20 min. I made sure they knew I was gonna pick it up from there. And went to collect my keys and wallet so I can leave. I say goodnight to my parents and leave to pick up the pizza.

It was already 5:30 so I walked in the shop and I wave at my friends working there. Ricky(a good friend of mine) walks up to me. "Ayyyyee Stef! What can I get for you?" He said. "I was just picking up bro." I replied. "Oh I'll check be back in a few." He rushes to the little shelf and grabs my order and walks back. "So where y'all going tonight man?!" Ricky asked already knowing Elena and I are going on a date tonight. I chuckled then explained our date night. "Damn son. And Gilbert's fine with her staying the night." He asked. "Already asked and they said yes!" I said happily. "You are one lucky guy my friend." I know I am. I smiled. "I'll catch u later Riri!!" I yell and run out the shop bursting out laughing. Before I'm out I here him say "bye babygirl!" I laughed harder at that. I jump in the car and check the time. It was already 5:45. Oh shix!!

I make it to Elenas before 6. I park the car and run up to the door. And before I could even knock the door swings open and it's...

Mr. Gilbert. "How are u son?" He starts off with. "I'm great. Y'all?" I replied. "We're doing fine thank you. Now.." I was waiting for this. I mean don't get me wrong or anything, but he just becomes a bit scary when he's in daddy protection mode. And I get it completely. We already had the 'talk'. "...just wanted to remind you that you should always treat her right and with respect. Cause if you don't and she gets a broken heart I might just have to hurt you." "You got it Mr. Gilbert. I already told y'all my intentions. I sincerely and gratefully thank y'all for trusting me with her tonight." Before we could go on, Elena walks out with a simple long sleeve and jeans. I stare at her for quite a bit of time, long enough for Grayson to say goodbye to her and walk in the house.
I swear no matter how many times I see her face, it's like it gets more angelic and beautiful every time.
I walk up to her. "Hi love." I kiss her cheek and she grabs my jaw to direct my lips to hers. We kiss for a few seconds before we decided to leave. I grabbed her bag. And it had a bit of weight to it. "Damn Lena whats in here?!!! We only gone for tonight." I busted out laughing. "Shut up." She hits me in that lower area and sprints to the car. Ouch. "Oh imma getcha."

Elena's POV:
We've been driving for about 10 minutes now and we get to this dirt path leading towards the woods. I've never been here before. We drive for a minute or two before we come up to this trail. I look at Stefan hesitantly but he shakes his head. "We'll be fine Lena I found this trail about two weeks ago. And the place where I set up our stuff is secured and private." He reassures everything is fine and we get out of the car. I grab the pizza and he grabbed my bag. We lock the car and head towards the trail. "Ok when I tell you to close your eyes close 'em. Please." I nod and we began walking. After a few minutes pass by he tells me to close my eyes as he guides me through the trail.

We walk for just a few more minutes and he let's go of my hand. "Stefan?" "I'm right here, let me grab those." He places everything on the ground I assumed. "If you didn't already know our date night
is us camping. Open your eyes love." I open my eyes and see this beautiful scenery. It took my breath away. "Aaaaagghhhh!! Stefan this is... this is just beautiful. Gosh look at the lake view. It's so amazing!!" I said looking out towards the water. "Yea, it really is beautiful." I heard him say. I turn my head and catch him staring at me. He gives me that smile that could turn your knees into jello; and create more than just butterflies in the stomach.

I threw my arms around him. I hug him very close to me. "Thank u. Nobody has ever done such things for me." I said.
