WINTER BREAK
Stefan's POV:

Last night was one of the best nights of my life. I finally asked Elena out. I haven't kissed her yet because I don't want her to feel or think that's all I want from her. Because truth be told, even tho I just me her this year, I would be lost without her. So today I'm actually going over to her house for Sunday dinner with my parents because Grayson and Miranda invited us. I don't what I'm gonna wear. It's currently 8 o'clock. We're gonna head to church, which starts at 9, then come home to get the food and head over to Elena's.

Church ended a little over 30 minutes ago. And it's 11:35. I'm changing out of my suit and into some comfortable, but formal looking clothes. I decided to just wear my white buttoned up shirt with a black tie.

We just pulled up to the Gilbert's driveway. And then I see Grayson and Jeremy, Elena's little brother, walk down to help us. "Hey guys, how are you?" Grayson asked. "We're great. I can speak for everyone when I say I'm ready to eat." My dad answered making all of us laugh and shake our heads. We follow behind Grayson and Jeremy. As we open the front the I smell the food. And it already makes me think of how good it's gonna taste. They direct us to the kitchen and I don't see Elena anywhere. My mom goes directly to Miranda and they seem as if they're best friends by the way they act. "How are Mrs. Gilbert?" I asked. "I'm fine thank you. And please call me Miranda." I go in for a hug. We back away and then I asked her, " Where's Elena?" "Oh, she's just upstairs. You should go check on her and it's the first room to your right." Miranda said. I gave them a smile and went to the stairs. I'm in front of her door. I take a second and then knock. "I'll be down in a second just stall them for a bit. Oh and what does Stefan look like or what is he wearing?" She says in a hurried tone. I'm over here try to suppress my laughter. "Well if you would like to know. I'm wearing a white buttoned up shirt wit..." I was cut off mid sentence by her opening the door. And "WOW." I didn't realize how I said that out loud until she answers with thank you. I open my arms and she falls into them as if we were two pieces of a puzzle. And as cheesy as it sounds I feel like we're meant to be. I walk with her downstairs hand in hand. The tables already set so we went ahead and started eating.

Dinner was amazing. My mom and dad are leaving. I decided to stay and hangout with Elena and Jeremy for a bit. Which totally ended up with me sleeping over for one night cause I didn't bring any clothes. So they just gave me Jeremy's.

"So what do you guys wanna do." Elena asked. "We should watch movies" Jeremy answered. We all agreed on it and started off by watching Narnia. Jeremy is laying on the floor while Elena and I are both on the same long chair in front of the TV. Sometimes she would be scared of the background music when someone enters the closet. So she would get closer to me every time that happens.  The part where the evil lady is freezing the other characters; she hugs me closely and buried her head into my chest. "It's okay. I got you." I said and then I pull her close. She slowly lifts her head up and start to lean in. I close in on her too and to tease her I go for the cheek.

Elena's POV:
He smirks and I let my head fall back down to his chest and we were still in a sitting position. "You play too much." I said. He lifts my head up and kisses my forehead. He turns to the TV and changes it to SpongeBob Squarepants. As he was looking forward I took the time to stare at his side profile. He had a chiseled jawline no 14 year old has. His cute little nose. His eyelashes were just beautifully long. And those eyes. Ugh. Oh they are to die for. They're emerald green and some times when I stare deep into them it's like being in the big green forest. Peaceful and relaxing. I look up at his hair and touch it. His face turning towards mine snapped me out of my trance. I quickly pull away and scoot off a little. "I'm sorry I didn—." He cuts me off by letting out a quiet laugh (since everyone around them were asleep) "get over here, silly." A smile appeared back onto my face as he pulls me back into his arms. "You can't put your hands wherever you want to baby..." he pauses and winks. "I already know I'm irresistible." I playfully roll my eyes at his words. "Always cocky." I said shaking my head. He starts kissing all over my face. And then stops and flashed me that dashing smile. He's so damn cute with his dimples. "Let's actually lay down on the couch." He said I got up as he laid on his back with one of the couch pillows under his head. He looks at me then stretches his hands out like a baby. I scoffed and laughed while I start to lay on him. I put my legs between his. And we're now chest to chest watching the funniest show ever made. (In my opinion)

I feel my eyelids becoming heavy. And I'm so tired. I look up Stefan was already asleep. He looks so adorable. I lay my head back down on his hard and warm chest. Then I wrap my arms between his and rest them on his shoulders. I feel so comfortable and safe.

I'm still sleeping when I feel Stefan start to move. Although I was too tired to open my eyes.
Next thing I know I'm being tucked in carefully by Stefan. I'm just starting to wake up. I look at the clock above the TV. 11:48. Oh shoot. Stefan's still tucking the blanket under my legs. My body is facing the ceiling while my head is turned to my side. He probably doesn't know I'm awake. So then I close my eyes again. Then I feel him touching my face gently with his soft hand. Then I hear him begin to say, "I don't know how I got so lucky with a gorgeous girl like you. I promise that I'll never leave your side. And I promise, to only be yours. And in return I ask you to be mine and mine only." He ends with a soft kiss on my cheek, forehead, and then he did something I least expected and kissed me on the lips. OMMMMGGGGGGG. I got so caught up with him doing that I started kissing back. He pulls back quickly and I open my eyes with a smile that I've been trying to hide. He starts, "You were awake the whole time??!" "Of course I was. You're such a perfect boyfriend. And I promise to be yours and yours only." I end with a wink as I sit up and he's in front of me crouching. I lean back in and he does the same. His lips on mine. Mine on his. I feel so much passion and like I could this for hours. I have this tingling sensation. The butterflies in my stomach are no more. As if it's to tell me I found the one. But what would I know I'm only a 14 year old teenager. We start to pull away. He's staring at me and I'm staring at him. I blush and look away.

I feel him put his index finger under my chin to make me look at him again. "You're so perfect." He said. I changed the subject. "Now why are you up this late?" I ask "I didn't want to be disrespectful to your parents and see us sleeping together on the same couch. But I was just gonna sleep right next to you on the floor." He said laughing. Oh that laugh could always make my heart melt. I laugh lightly. "Ok since you're gonna lay on the floor. Give me a second." I run upstairs grab blankets and pillows for him and I.

I return and see he's just watching Mamma Mia. "I love that movie. I mean Sophie and Scott are a cute couple." I said walking towards him. He gets up and grabs the stuff I got. I laid a comforter on the floor and we also moved the coffee table. Jeremy was carried upstairs by our dad during the movie because he was already asleep.

We're laying down watching the movie still when I just can't seem to fall asleep. Stefan notices and sits up on the floor. His back is leaning towards the couch and then I decided to put my arm around his shoulder. While I'm laid on my stomach on the edge of the couch. He takes my hand and intertwined them with his. I felt sparks. He leans his head back and I nuzzle my head on his neck. We fell asleep that way. I feel so blessed and amazing.
