First day of school

Third Person POV:
One week later...
It is September 9th, 2008 Mystic Highs first day of school is today which is Stefan's first day of school. Stefan got up and took a quick shower. He was getting ready because he was now a freshman in school. He went with a black plain T-shirt, with the blue denim jeans, and black. When he styled his hair he always combed it upwards.
After he got ready it was only 7:05, but school starts at eight o'clock he decided to go get some breakfast. When he got to the kitchen his mom was already there flipping pancakes and 3 plates of bacon and eggs next to her. "Good morning Momma! How's my favorite woman in the world doing today?" Said Stefan kissing his moms cheek smiling widely. "You're just like your father. Always good with charming girls. Well since you asked, I'm very fine thank you. And how's my son doing today?" Lily asks laughing along with Stefan. "I'm very excited, and for some reason I feel really good today." Said Stefan honestly. He was a mommas boy and Damon was a daddy's boy too. They also are just super close with each other."That's good and you'll totally be fine." Said lily. They grabbed they're plates and started walking towards the dining table and set it. "You want some water momma." Said Stefan. "Yes, please." As he was approaching the fridge he hears his dad come up behind him saying, "Hey bud, you ready for your first day?" Said Gus. "Yea I'm pumped." Said Stefan happily. "Alright let's eat and I'll drop you off it's 7:20." Said Gus. "Alright." Said Stefan. They all sat down held hands and said they're prayers. After they ate Stefan got into his dads Dan Gurney special edition of the mustang.

Elena woke up late for the first day of school, but it's a good thing she laid out all her school clothes and bag the night before. She took a quick shower and got ready and wore a white shirt the fitted her curves well with blue jeans and black leathered boots and jacket. It was now 7:45 and she needed to get her schedule. She hurried downstairs and saw her mom Miranda waiting for her with toasted strawberry stroodle. Elena's favorite. "Well finally you want to leave for school." Said Miranda laughingly. They lived at least 3 minutes away from the school so Miranda wasn't as worried but Elena was just rushed. "Well thanks for waking me up." Elena says sarcastically. "I'm sorry honey. Let's go you'll be late sweetie." Says Miranda "Bye daddy, bye Jeremy." Elena yelled stepping out of the house. And got into the passenger seat. "So how's Matt treating ya?" Says Miranda. "Robe honest mom I haven't spoken to him in three weeks. And I also feel like we're just friends." Says Elena. "You know honey you're only a freshman you should just appreciate how slow things are with Matt because when he wants to speed up you won't and it'll be the same problem. Ok? So just try and focus on school first. And never forget I was a kid your age once too." Miranda Says as they pull up to the curb in front of the school. "Thanks Mom have a nice and I'll see you later." Elena Says as she kisses her mom on the cheek and leaves. It was 7:50 and there were three tables outside of the main doors, and all three had lines of people in front of it. And then a blue car pulled up to the curb. People started getting closer looks and said damn and oooohhs. Most new it was a limited edition of the car. But what happened next made all the girls gasp. Stefan opens his door and gets out of the passenger side and then he bends back down to get his bag. To most people he looked like a sophomore but he's just a freshman. He had the cutest smile that everybody could see because was laughing at what his dad was saying. "I'll pick you up after school." Says Gus to Stefan. "Ok, bye pops." Says Stefan walking right through the school doors because he was one of the kids who already got their schedules and was also feeling a bit uncomfortable from the stares.

Elena's POV:
I swear I've seen that guy at least three times and he gets hotter and hotter every time. But now I feel guilty for think like that while with Matt. Speaking of Matt I should probably go find him.

I see him talking to some girls, but for some reason it doesn't bother me then I go up to him. "Hey Matty." I say and he turns around nods his head towards me and goes back to speaking to Cassidy and Maya.  Never really liked them so I asked Matt. "Can I speak to you Matt." He turns around and says sure. We walk through the hallways slowly and start going to class. I asked a few questions and he really didn't seem to care. We finally made to an empty corner and he tries to kiss me but I move away. "What the hell Elena. I thought we were supposed to be dating meaning it includes kissing." he said. "Yeah I thought so too Matt, but apparently you don't act like we are in public in front of people." I say. I know Matt is a real jerk but he is my best friend which is mainly why we started dating. "What do you think I'm trying to do? I'm trying kiss my girlfriend in front of everybody show them what I can do with my mouth." Said Matt. I was really disgusted and he gave me a smirk. "Really Matt is that what this is about?!" I say seriously. " No I'm just joking around come here. I'll meet you during lunch since we don't have any classes together ok? Bye" he says before he leaves not dropping me off to my class.

I walk alone through the hallways until I see that cute guy again which causes me to form a big smile on my face do no apparent reason. Then I looked away and started walking towards my first period. Before I start walking I see him pass me by and walks into my first class of the day. That must mean we have the same period. Duhh of course you do yah idiot he just walked in there.

I entered the classroom and see a few more desks open mainly because kids came rushing in when the bell rang two minutes ago. The only options were sit in the back or front of the class then I see an open seat next to that guy. I started walking towards it he had his head down drawing something that I couldn't figure out what it was because he looked up and gave me a smile that made my heart melt. "I'm sorry is this seat taken?" I asked he shook his head so I sat down beside him.

Stefan's POV:
I can't believe she actually decided to sit next to me. Why am I feeling like this? It's not like she's mine. As in my girlfriend. I think about how many times we've bumped into each other then I turn to her introducing myself. "Hey I know this is like the fourth time we have met so I wanted to properly say hi and My name is Stefan Salvatore." I pull my hand out for her to shake and she grabs it and says something. But I swear when she touched my hand it was like shock so I pulled away smoothly but didn't break our eye contact. "My name is Elena Gilbert. And it's nice to meet you. Finally." She said with a small giggle at the end. Which gave me the same gut feeling when I first saw her. Maybe this means will be good friends.

The day went by pretty fast and I'm heading to my last period of the day which is PE. I love it because I'm very athletic or so I'd like to think. We were just going easy today and then we had to suit up starting tomorrow.

I started playing and throwing threes when a few boys came up to me and old me their names. "Hey man you seem really good. My names Klaus by the way." One says. "I'm Tyler and this is Matt." Says another. "I'm Stefan and sure I'll be on your team." I say. "Alright let's get this game going. Woooo" Says Tyler.

I see dads car parking across the street so I went towards him and got in. "Ayyyyooo how was the first day of school." My dad asked while turning on the car and driving off. "It was ok and I made a few friends." I say. "That's great bud let's go home. Your moms probably waiting dying to ask you questions on your first day of school." He says. And we drove silently listening to Purple Rain by Prince.
