*** Cley's POV

So we went to the wedding just for Ashley. As best men, Tyler and I went straight to Jared's room.

Barely saying a word, we managed to look at Jared. He's all dressed now so we didn't bother going any closer. I loved how Tyler's hands were in his pockets and so I did too.

"I didn't expect you to come." Jared uttered while drinking a wine, looking out his window.

Tyler laughed a little. "You didn't expect someone who was invited? That's..." he looked at me and I smiled.

"Stupid." I finished the sentence.

"We're here for Ashley. Just so you know." Tyler took a glass of wine in the tray, most probably prepared by the maids. So they really expected us here, huh?

Feeling contented without wine, I went straight to Jared. "What will happen today?"

"Wedding with Ashley, I guess." There was no hint of sarcasm in his face, though his words are full of it.

Don't even dare to start Wills.

"And Stacy?" Tyler asked.

Jared instantly looked at us. Why is he always looking so much more handsome than me? Is it because I am Asian? Or is it because he's American? Or either way?

Oh dear Cley. Let him be. It's his wedding day.

"I love Ashley more than I know." I didn't understand his words. "You see, I always seek Stacy. Just thinking of her is making me want to leave everything behind me now. However, there is this... this slight prick in my chest whenever I do. That kiss... made me think of today. It made me think of Ashley wearing a gown at the entrance. Or maybe cooking breakfast for me and our child... children, if ever. It's just... I never really understand myself now. I know I still love Stacy, however..." He lost his words. He just bowed his head and started to shed a tear.

Tyler laughed at that. "You drunk?"

"No. Men actually go through the same thing in every wedding day." I laughed too.

"Not for me." Tyler said. Yep. Almost forgot his own problem.

Seeing Jared go crazy relieved me a little. Atleast I don't have to go and tell Ashley to back out now. Atleast she won't have a fake marriage.

I tapped his back and fixed his already tear-stained suit. We just laughed at each other and gave him a manly hug.

We heard the door open. There, stood Jcee with a bruise in his lower lip. He smiled at Jared. "I heard you left my gift at the bar. Is that true?" Then joined us. He's talking about Stacy.

He offered his hand to Jared.

"I did that to assure myself that you won't hurt her. I'm just trying to protect her, you know." Instead of taking Jcee's hand, Jared pulled him to a hug.

Woooh! We're fine now. We are.

"I love your bestfriend. Too bad, I confessed earlier than you." Jared joked at Jcee. Well, that's true. They just laughed at each other. Just in time when the camera man came in to shoot us a bit.

"I actually have another gift." Jcee said.

Well that made us nervous again. Tyler and I looked at each other, ready to punch him.

Jcee took a small box in his pocket. Well, he looked gay shit since it kinda looked like he's proposing to Jared but the box is quite big for a ring.

Confused, Jared took the box and opened it. He looked at Jcee with a confused look.

"You won the race, remember? My car is all yours."

Jared smiled at him and returned the car key to Jcee. "I actually need you to give me one of your executive cars. My wife won't be so happy with your gift."

Jcee just smiled and nodded. "Forgot about that."

The word WIFE banged our ears. Not something we imagined to hear from Jared.  We really thought he'll marry last or not at all because of... well, waiting for Stacy. But that's the total opposite since he married first.

Before going to the church, we dropped by Ashley's room. Rose, Gina, together with Louise, Ashley's mom, were there, fixing her gown.

She looked so beautiful and sexy even with a slight bump in her stomach. Well, that actually made her more beautiful.

"Are men allowed to see the bride?" Tyler asked Rose.

She smiled instantly. "Well, except for the groom."

"He's not with us, ma'am." I answered politely.

I saw Gina blush at Tyler but Tyler didn't even look at her. The three of us went straight to Ashley.

She looked like Stacy but more angelic. More Ashley like.

Jcee hugged her so tightly. So, this is goodbye for his feelings. "Look at you. You were just a little preschooler yesterday." He said.

Ashley laughed. "You sound like my dad. Are we not in the same age?"

"I'm actually nine months older." Jcee hugged her again.

We gave her our own compliments and hugs before leaving her.

This will be a great day. Sure, it will be.
