***Cley's POV

My friends looked so damn busy with everything they have now. Jared with his company and family. Jcee with his company and self. Tyler with his, well, company and fiancee. As for Cley, I have no company, no lovelife and no family to worry about. Little did these jerks know, I am busier than any of them. How? Like I can tell. I'm just busier. End of the story.

Of course I see to it that I make time just to meet these jerks up.

And today... "The president is here, sir."

I looked at Tyler who seemed not to know about my prank. I laughed a little.

"We have to do well with him. The proposal is no joke." He said to his secretary before coming inside. Then he looked at me. "What the fvck? Get out of here, Cley. I have a very important meeting."

"Want me to end it? Well, that's easy. I'm not going to push through with this joint operation with you."

His brows furrowed. When he finally got my point, he loosened his tie and let the others go out of the room. Oh shit! "I am a busy man. And what you did is something very vey serious Cley." He said calmly but the anger in his voice is very much audible.

"Relax, bro. I actually got you something." I threw a folder across the table.

His eyes still locked to mine. Full of anger. I mean, seriously? Did I do anything wrong? Did I? Did I?

"Those are the traces to the files that went missing. Though we still don't know the exact place, atleast we already have a clue. It was thrown somewhere in Thailand. Not sure how it got there, who did and why." I explained.

He scanned the papers. "Well, make sure we know the answers fast enough before someone else knows about this." He gave back the folder to me. I'm sort of waiting for him to ask- "What about Gina?"

See? He really don't know how to give up, does he? "Just give up, man. I mean. Who knows where she is? We already combined our own strengths. But no traces." He sighed deeply. "Your daughter's growing. And you don't have much choice but to marry Cassidy now."

He looked at me with his eyes full of hope. "Not until my hope is still here. Who ever is keeping her, I'll make sure he or she will die in my own hands."

I smirked at him. Well. This is going to be very interesting. I love this game.

***Ashley's POV

I cooked for him today. Just like before, I prepared a good dinner table for us at the poolside.

But just like before, I waited for nothing. No, he's just busy. I have to stop underestimating his loyalty with me. I mean, it doesn't matter if he's late. The thing is, he comes home. Every night.

So, I just went to bed and slept. Actually, my head is much more awake than my body. What I did is just to close my eyes and let myself just drift away. But that didn't happen.

Unknowingly, my tears flowed to my pillowcase. Why the hell am I even crying? Or is it because my eyes are so damn tired but my mind refuse to give them a rest?

The door cracked open so I instantly closed my eyes and left my thoughts behind. From the smell alone, I knew it's Jared. Something inside my stomach turned. And it hurts. So much that I want to bend my body but I have to bare with it for a while.

His phone rang but it stopped in one second. Jared answered it as fast as he could and went to our room's veranda. I continued to act sleeping.

"Oh. Yup, I just got home..... I can see that." He laughed. "Can't say. You have your own reputation when it comes to bed but I got you moaning. I'm afraid you lost tonight, my dear." After another pause, he laughed again.
