Story #10: The Vet

"Nelson! Pancakes!!!" Jaiden yelled.

Nelson was having a very dank dream, but when he hears that word, he can't help but jump out of his dreams and launch into action.

Nelson jumped out of the bean bag, and ran to the kitchen.

"Where's the food!!" Nelson desperately asked, as gallons of drool was leaking from his mouth.

Pamela pointed to the kitchen table, as she chewed on her spaghetti.

Nelson teleported to the seat.

"Down the hatch!"

Nelson picked up all twenty of the pancakes, and shoved it down his throat.

"More!!" Nelson demanded.

"Nelson, that was all I made," Jaiden explained.

"Jaiden, more!"

"I'm all out of batter."

Nelson was about to sprint to the store, but he suddenly felt a mysterious sickness wash over him.

*thud!*

"Nelson, what the heck?" Said Pamela, as she leaned over to Nelson on the floor.

"Ughhhh...." Nelson moaned.

"You good?" Jaiden asked, walking over to Nelson.

"Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good..."

Jaiden and Pamela exchanged looks.

It's not like Nelson to fake an illness. If he says he doesn't feel so good, he doesn't feel so good.

"Pamela, let's take him to the vet," Jaiden decided.

Pamela nodded.

"Nooo....." Nelson protested.

Jaiden scooped up Nelson.

"Sorry Nelp, but this is our only option. Neither I or Pam are vets," Jaiden explained, opening the door to their apartment.

*click!*

Pamela locked the door, and followed Jaiden to the white sedan.

"Do you want to take my car?" Pamela asked.

"Yassss...." Nelson moaned.

Pamela had the coolest car around. It wasn't a Lamborghini, but it was defiantly a sight.

Jaiden placed Nelson in the back seat.

"Shotgun....." Nelson moaned.

"Seriously, Nelson?" Jaiden asked.

Nelson brushed his claws on Jaiden's arm.

"Ugh."

Jaiden placed Nelson in the front seat. Jaiden sat in the back.

"Buckle up, dweebs," Pamela commanded.

"Ugh...." Nelson moaned, as he dramatically tried to reach for the seat belt.

"Oh, my word."

Jaiden got out of the car, and went around to the front seat to buckle in Nelson.

As Jaiden was walking back to his seat, Nelson stopped him,

"J-Jaiden...."

"What?" He asked.

Nelson motioned to come back to him. Jaiden came back.

Nelson got up, and whispered in his ear,

"Give me your IPad....."

"No. If you can't reach for the seat belt, then what makes you think you can use my IPad?"
