Story #6: The Job

"Again, Nelson!" Jaiden exclaimed in anger, "You again ate up all the food we have!"

"Sorry, Jaiden. It's what I do," Nelson explained.

"You know what, Nelp. You're getting a job."

"A job!?" Nelson exclaimed, "Are you kidding me!?"

"You've drained my wallet for the last time!"

"Drained your wallet?! I'm not the only one who eats here, buckaroo."

"Nelson, I've see you take food out of the fridge all the time. No-one eats more than you do."

"I'm a growing boy!" Nelson said in defence.

"You stopped growing years ago!"

"My fur still grows!"

"Fair enough..... But you're still getting a job," Jaiden said firmly.

"If I get a job, can I buy 32 loaves of bread a week instead of 26?" Nelson asked.

"Yeah, sure."

"Deal! Thanks, Jod!"

Nelson ran up to Jaiden to shake his hand. Jaiden accepted.

"I'll go find the nearest Arby's."

Nelson ran out of the apartment.

*slam!*

"Who am I kidding," Jaiden said to himself, "He'll never get hired...."

"Look out Razville!" Nelson yelled, "Here I come to steal your jobs!"

Arby's~

"Attention all employees!" Nelson yelled through a megaphone, "I will be taking all your jobs! To make this easier for me and for you, please give me your aprons! Single file, please! It'll make things go faster! Thank you for your service!"

The employees just stood there amused, but one actually looked worried.

"No-one is taking jobs here!" A man yelled, walking out of the men's bathroom.

"And who do you think you are talking to me that way?!" Nelson asked, still using the megaphone.

"Just the Manager of this place," He announced.

"What do Managers exactly do, chubby?!"

"Please stop yelling through that megaphone," The man commanded.

Nelson turned off the megaphone.

"Managers manage the place. Such as firing, and kicking people out. You know, common sense."

"Huh, well, I'd like a job here," Nelson announced.

"Get out!"

"Excuse me?!"

"Get out of my restaurant!"

*pow!*

The manager kicked Nelson out of the restaurant..... literally.

"Oh, well...... MacDonald's, here I come!"

Nelson quickly sprinted a couple of miles to the closest McDonald's.
