Lukes POV
He was just laying there. No movement was made except for the steady rise and fall of his chest, reassuring me he was still alive.
The three of us sat in silence, just waiting for the unrealistic to happen. I couldnt help but feel like they were hiding something from me, but I couldn't quite work out what it was.
*flashback*
The boys burst back into the room again, their faces looked pale like they would be sick any minute.
'What did she say?' I croaked, not particularly sure if I wanted to know. Ashton glanced across at Mikey before scratching the back of his neck nervously.
'Well she told us that Cal is in a coma, and then she said he's not yet at risk of dying.' He coughed awkwardly, stealing yet anouther glances at Michael.
'Yeah, and also she said that we could visit him if we wanted to.' Michael chipped in, ruffling his hair.
'Oh, okay. Anything else?' I asked, sure that they were keeping something back.
'No! I-I mean, er no.' I raised an eyebrow but didn't push it. I just got up off of my bed, steadying myself on my shakey legs before leading the way out of the room, and then following the boys down the corridor to Calum.
*end flashback*
Calums POV.
I heard voices, shuffling, a door opening, and then a hand taking mine.
'Please stay with me Calum.' It was Luke, I'm sure of it. 'Please.'
Little did he know I was trying my hardest, focusing on forcing the numbness back from my mind and from my body. My fingertips tingled, my heart skipping a beat.
They need to save me, and fast.
