First thing Monday a senior exec herds us into a room for a 'brainstorming' session. You know the vibe - he obviously binged on coffee and motivational videos over the weekend and wants to impart his wisdom to his feeble-minded flock.
He prances around like his pants are on fire. You can tell he thinks he's Rocky Balboa bouncing around the ring and beating the world. In reality it's more like a Mick Jagger concert with sudden onset diarrhea.
Sadly it's nothing new and we usually just let it gas out. Our dejection spurs him on. He grabs a marker and furiously draws meaningless diagrams on the whiteboard.
Wait a minute – what whiteboard?!?! A few people smirk and exchange knowing looks. We did just buy a teleprompter though 😏.
Later his PA is overheard getting quotations for teleprompter lens replacement 😂.
