My boss calls. He starts with, 'Have you fixed it yet?'
I have absolutely no idea what he's talking about. 'Sorry I've been in meetings all day, how can I help?'
'I emailed you to say my email isn't working.'
I pause to digest. 'Um... your email is down so you emailed me?'
'Yes exactly! When can you fix it?'
I said I'd look into it and email him back.
