Shuichi's POV:
I rushed to get dressed, and then I race to the dining hall. I'm caught off guard by a stupor as I reach the dining hall. The surprising sight was, that everyone was waiting outside the dining hall, even though it should have been open by now. As usual I was the last one to arrive, making me feel late.
"What's going on?" I asked both out of confusion and fear.
Kaito was the one who chipped up, "The door's locked."
"Why would the door be locked? It should be unlocked by now." My voice was dripping with confusion, and quaked a little from Ouma's video.
"That's exactly what I'd like to know." I jump back in dismay as Monokuma pops up in front of me.
"You mean you don't know why it's locked?" Himiko piped up.
"No, I'm trying to say that I forgot to unlock the door." Monokuma's words were covered in sarcasm. "Of course I don't know why it's locked!" Monokuma roared and bared his claws at Himiko.
Himiko coward away from the mono toned bare. "I'll curse yo you i if you do th that again." Himiko whimpered trying to sound brave but her voice failed her.
"Ignoring that. I'll manually unlock the door so you guys can go in." Monokuma proceeded to seemingly produce a key out of thin air. (but that's impossible, right?)
We all enter the dining hall and are, I would say greeted but this greeting was to morbid, shunned by what we see. I stare wide eyed out of a new kind of terror. My stare is returned by the cloudy fishbowl eyes of a hanging Kaede Akamatsu.
I know this is a shorter chapter but I couldn't think of a better place to end this chapter. I really hope you're enjoying this fanfiction. I would also like to thank you all for the support you show to this fanfic. ~thank you.
