Shuichi's POV:
"What kind of cruel joke is this?" Kaito screeched, clenching his hands into fist.
"Is it one of the wax sculptures?" Himiko asked shaking as she hide behind Kiibo.
"N-no, it's definitely a real body..." maki chirped up her voice sounded startled. I guess none of us were expecting to see something so putrid.
The fact that Ouma did this sent fits of rage and resentment, towards the boy who I loved. No, that's wrong, he's the monster that I had once loved.
As gently as we could, we walked towards Kaede. Once we had finally reached the air was almost too tainted, from the smell, to breathe.
Upon closer examination an envelope was found. The envelope had splatters of blood on it. Just the sight of the blood sent me wrenching. We opened the metaphorical cage of the letter. The letter read:
This is the beginning of your new mystery. Like the class trials your goal is to find who did this. There's more to this mystery then meets the eye. The first step to this mystery is finding the hidden bodies. Every single person who has died during this killing game has there body hidden somewhere in this penitentiary. Once you find all of the bodies your goal will be to find out who put the bodies here, and where did the bodies come from. I know you're probably thinking that I was the one who moved the bodies, but I promise you that I haven't touched the bodies.
At each body you will find a clue to where you can find another body. You only have a week to solve this simple puzzle. At the end of the week I will be hosting my very own class trial. If you fail to solve riddle then a preset bond will go off killing everyone in the school, and yes that includes me. I'm the only person who can defuse the bomb, so I'd encourage you to get on with your Sherlock Holmes work.
Clue: A body will be found in a room discovered during the first trial.
-Ouma
I couldn't believe what I was reading. Someone that I was looking at right now was corrupt enough to move dead bodies without a motive.
The letter had left everyone speechless. I had no idea what the clue was referring to. I still had no clue how Kokichi got hold of a bomb. Or why he would want to use it.
Well I guess, I do have an idea why he would want to explode the place. Nobody was really kind to Ouma. He had even told me that I was the only one he actually had left. I took what we had in stride. I hurt him. I hurt him more than I've ever hurt anyone. I regret it deeply.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I was thinking of possibly posting a new chapter every day this week. This would showcase every day of the mystery. But I'm not so sure, if that would be a good idea.
