Shuichi's POV:
My mind is plagued with thoughts of what the clue was referring to. So I started pacing. After a little while of my pacing, I trip. When I turned to look I noticed what seemed to be a loose board. Then out of no where it hits me, the room behind the bookcase in the library.
Suddenly I can't help myself, and I find myself racing out of my room. Before I'm even aware of the fact that I'm currently outside, I'm knocking on Kaito's door. All thoughts of the board had been pushed out of my memory.
"Shuichi? What are you doing here? It's one in the morning." Kaito bleated sheepishly. It was quite clear that I had awakened Kaito from his slumber.
"I figured out what the first clue was referring to!" I exclaimed. Then shrank down into my seat, afraid that my fear might be mistaken for joy.
"That's great, we should get the others and start investigating." Kaito replied stepping out from the doorway.
Kaito and I gather up the current remaining survivors, except Ouma. Then we satarted to walk to the library. Nobody said a word on the walk here. Once we walk in through the secret bookcase entryway. We're faced by, yet another gruesome sight.
This time it's even more putrid looking then Keade. Tojo's body was speared to the wall, there were shard of glass and thorns poking through her skin. Tojo's body formed a cross. Who ever the sick fuck who did this was must have enjoyed it.
Next to tojo a knife impaled the wall, pressing a note to the blood splattered wall. The note was another clue and it said,
Clue: The next room is a place of sin and relationships based on lies.
I instantly know what the letter is referring to, but I'm to nervous to pipe up about the matter.
To my relief, Kiibo chirps up in his mechanical voice. "Isn't there a place called the love hotel?"
"I think there is." Maki responds. "I think they sell keys for rooms at the casino." I already had a key, but I would never admit to it.
It didn't really hit me until we started talking about the love hotel that I realized just how much I really missed Ouma.
"Then it's settled tomorrow we'll go to the casino and try to earn enough money for that key!" Kaito's voice was busting with encouragement. Though the encouragement wasn't enough to get anyone to talk on the walk back to the dorm rooms.
Everyone, except me, went straight into there own rooms. I had something I still needed to do. I walk up to Ouma's dorm room and knocked. "Can I come in?" No reply. "I promise I won't hurt you." No sound. "Please, I miss you." Still nothing. My eyes started to sting as my heart shattered.
They say your first love is always the hardest.
I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I plane to have more chapters coming soon.
