Bones

Shuichi's POV:

I wake up the next morning, but I feel as though everything is meaningless. I wish I could see Kokichi. If I could I would pull him into a sweet embrace, and apologize for everything I've done. But it's to late, I can't take it back.

Eventually I convince myself to get up and continue solving the mystery. It isn't for me, but for Kokichi, so he won't have to die.

After I get dressed, I step outside my room and find Kiibo and Himiko. They were standing outside of my room, presumably waiting for me.

"Did you two need something?" I asked trying to sound as calm as I possibly could.

"We believe that Ouma didn't place the bodies so we wanted to help you. Solve the mystery that is." Kiibo chirped, sounding a little nervous.

"Oh, sure you can help. I was actually just about to go to the pool, for the next body." I replied happy to get so pressure lifted off of me.

We walked down to the pool. Once we arrived we searched everywhere, but in the end all of are hunting went in vain.

"I don't understand, one should be here." I exclaimed confusion hitting my voice like a wave.

"Well, what did the note say, maybe you got the place wrong." Himiko said playing with her hat. She must have been nervous.

I handed Himiko the note. Himiko took the note from me. After a minute she looked up at me angrily.

"The notes talking about the bathroom in Hoshi's research lab, you dope." Himiko yeld at me yield at me. To be honest, when she yeld at me it was hard not to laugh.

"Fine we'll go check Hoshi's bathroom." I say putting my hands up in defense.

The tree of us make our ways down to the new claimed location of the body.
When we got to the tennis courts there were no signs of a body. Even stranger, when we went into the bathroom there still wasn't a body, so we looked closer.

Eventually we found two notes, both were from Kokichi.

I read the first.

YOU WILL NOTE FIND THE BONES OF RYOMA HOSHI HERE OR ANYWHERE ELSE. BUT WHAT YOU HAVE FOUND, IS THE PLACE WHERE HIS BONES USED TO BE. THE REASON WHY HOSHI'S BONES WON'T BE FOUND IS BECAUSE I USED THEM TO MAKE THE BOMB.

I was left speechless. So were Himiko and Kiibo.

I read the second note.

NOTE: WE ONCE CAME ACROSS A BEAUTIFUL SWORD.

Ouma has to have meant the gold leaf sword.

We decided to disband for the day. Tomorrow we wound find another day, but tomorrow would be the 6th. We wouldn't have much more investigation time.

As I'm walking back to my room I see Kokichi's door. I don't go up to it. It's pretty clear that he has nothing left to say to me. And there's nothing, that I can say to make him talk to me.

There's only four more bodies left to find. And only two more days until Kokichi runs his mystery trial. I'm shocked by how many people are upset with Shuichi. When I wrote shuichi and Kokichi's break up I thought of it as A person simply falling for another while in a relationship. I never thought of it like cheating or anything punishable with this type of treatment. But when I read the comments I find that many people seem to be agreeing with the treatment that kokichi is giving kokichi. I would like to know why you guys think it's reasonable.
