(so sorry for the delay guys, i was really having a hard time editing this chapter but anyways it's finally here, hopefully you don't find the little changes disorienting, I just realized that although the book was very vivid with Amal's thoughts, the same couldn't be said about Zach, so I added depth and detail to his perspective, hopefully you'll like it, do enjoy and last but least, thank you for reading  --Aysha)

Zach's POV.

"Stop trying to put a stereotype on everyone, just because you feel like because at that moment you are doing nothing, but backing them into a corner that's full of lies and deceit"

The roar of low laughter filled my ears making me I glanced around only to notice that was coming from a group seated a few seats away from me, it was Ayana and her friend group, making me roll my eyes because honestly, i have no idea why that group of people believe that they are free to mess with the teacher during our classes instead of having to concentrate like everyone else, however my train of concentration and annoyance was once again disrupted by the annoying sound of a chair screeching right in front of me making me let out a tired sigh, roses jokesters just never know when to stop honestly, i wondered if at least that was enough to grab Mr. harts attention this time, however after turning to face the source of the noise, i took my wish to scold them back.

Because, I  saw her, the girl whom I had awkwardly spoken too, not to long ago, standing up with tears running down her face which she eagerly tried to wipe away, but it was almost endless, making me immediately sit up in panic but before I could say anything, the teacher was rushing to her side, while she hurriedly tried  to pack up her books bur was failing due to how blurry her sight was getting.

"Miss Adnan, what's wrong?, where are you going?" Mr. Hart tries to say obviously now worried but Amal just rushes past him, deciding to simply ditch her notebook before he could stop her, making him blink in disbelief because It was so unlike her to do this.

Zach looked back almost immediately at the group that were laughing earlier on, only to see Kylie and Ayana giving each other hi fives making him frown in disbelief, because of course they had something to do with it!, for them distance never matters when it comes to messing with Amal, does it? Zach thinks to himself while glaring at them, he wanted nothing more than to walk over and threaten them until they would eventually confess to what they had done to her, to make her cry, perhaps after hearing it he can even make them cry too but he couldn't...actually yes he can, but maybe he shouldn't, his mom had only taught him that it was wrong to hit women or rather, his Grandma did..so all he could do was stare at them in obvious disgust, he knew that this wasn't his fight but he couldn't fight the urge that he has been feeling lately to get involved honestly, especially since Amal doesn't seem like she's ready to face that group of idiots head on, at least not anytime soon.

Luckily before Mr. hart could say another word, while staring after Amal who had just stormed out, out of nowhere, the bell suddenly goes off making Zach let out a sigh in relief, at least now he knew that Amal wouldn't be getting into trouble now, the students all rushed towards the door as it was time for lunch, while the teacher stared at him while he stayed back.

"So are you going to leave" Mr. hart questions him and for a moment there he wonders if he should speak, to tell him all about what Amal has to go through in the hands of her own classmates but he holds back, he holds back because, even if he does he has no evidence to present, so he smiles, and tells the teacher that he was waiting for someone, that to which the teacher nods, smiles and eventually says see you in the next class.

Immediately the teacher leaves, Zach finds himself walking straight to Amal's table, where her abandoned books laid, making him shake his head at her ability to run our leaving traces of herself behind, he unzips his bag pack and picks up her books and while trying to put her books in his backpack, a wrinkled paper falls from her book pile unto the ground, making him frown, he zips up his bag-pack before bending down to pick it up and he glances around as he struggles to keep his curiosity at by, as he wonders just what if this was the clue he was looking for, then and there he decides to read the note to read the note.

"Our Dear Amal,

Why don't you just do the world a favor kill yourself just like how your religion is killing innocent people around the world."

Making Zach immediately frowns in disgust, because to him anyone who can tell another person to kill his or herself is not a human but a monster, and what we humans fail to realize is that in the reality of today, so many members of our specie are falling into that category due to our lack of humanity.

And then he goes on to wonder to himself that "what If she truly decides to kills herself, then what?, what would they gain?"

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Yet they still encourage their own classmates to do it, they most certainly don't follow the saying of their Lord whichever one in which they serve.

He couldn't stop myself from getting lost in another debate with himself lost inside his own head and thoughts, thinking to himself that this is exactly why he doesn't believe in that stereotype that everyone has been giving the Muslim people in general lately, mainly the one about them being terrorists, I mean what if for example; If he decided to pick up a gun and kill people right now, wouldn't that make him a terrorist too?, He wonders with a frown, then shakes his head at their stupidity.

I mean, do this people even know the meaning of the word they love to use so much?, He thinks to himself as He throws the scrunched up paper into the Recycle bin which is where he believes that all stupid opinions belong.

"Hey Zachary!, you coming?" Sam peaks at his friend who was still inside the empty classroom

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming!" Zach says while slipping Amal's notebook into his backpack before catching up with his friend, they both headed towards their lunch room, unknown to them, there was more drama going on there, hopefully this time Zach would be able to hold himself back...hopefully.
