"Hiiiii, hopefully everyone is doing great today, so here's another update, it's longer than it was in the past because I realized that we never really dived into the storyline without paying much time to elaborate on the trauma this character's had to go through and what it felt like to experience it from their perspective...so here is PTSD from Amal's perspective....enjoy reading" -AyshaAmal's POV
"Never allow their opinions to rule over your own"
"Soooooo how was school today?" Azad asks out of obvious curiosity as she drags a chair close to me, to take a seat, making me stare at her in suspicion.
BECAUSE I knew...
I knew that she is about to blow up on me at any moment from now, i mean it's obvious, it's an obvious fact to every single one of the members of my family that Azad is still yet to get over it, even after so many years since the thing that had traumatized her had happened.
"Oh you know, school, it's just the same old" I reply with a smile, because the last thing I would need is for her to start panicking over little to nothing. Okay maybe it is something, any moment from now.
"Are you still getting bullied again?, I knew it! but Abtal just never believes me when I tr-" Azad rambles making me LET OUT A sigh
You see what I mean!
She is just too overprotective sometimes, don't get me wrong. I love the fact that she cares, but from what I have heard from the vice principal about how my sister went to visit aka threaten her after the first bullying incident back when i was hospitalised, in 2016.
As if that wasn't enough, BARELY A FEW MINUTES INTO my AWAKENING from coma, my darling sis was already bombarding me with questions like a police detective of some sort not even giving me a few minutes to rest, she was asking me for all of the names of the people who did that to me, but of course, I didn't see anyone so I told her the truth thinking it would end there especially since the doctor and everyone else told her that I needed room to rest but noooo....
Instead of getting to enjoy my sudden time off school for an entire semester and miraculous return back to that same school, the gift i receive was to have my name getting randomly mentioned, in multiple unnecessary school assemblies that the school dedicated just too me, as if by doing so they would make up for the hospital bills in which my parents were forced to pay for duration of time, I became really famous in school and town but it was the wrong type of famous, for i was known as the girl who almost died but she survived. Some news channels even tried to contact my family that they wanted to talk to me, but I refused so that idea was dismissed but regardless of it all, do you know that up till this day, no one... I mean absolutely no one in this school has ever come up to me to comfort, condemn or even speak on the actions of whoever it was that had done that to me, no one spoke directly to me even though at the time they were mostly busy talking about what had happened to me amongst themselves.
Yes, I know they are all so caring!.
Well, nobody came up to me, except for the principal and vice principal, even though they only spoke to me probably because of the threat they had received from my sister and brother in law that if they don't fix their bullying issue they will sue the school and have them close down after paying me compensation...yeah no thank you...i'm not that interested.
