"We play,we cry we laugh I love it when we fight we don't want to be like them"
Third persons POV
"So, how was your night?" Amal asked, glancing at Zach as they settled into their seats, He glanced at her and his usually sharp blue eyes looked a bit dimmer today, shadowed by fatigue, but there was still mischief there in his gaze, flickering like a candle in the wind.
"Quite Eventful, I'll say since I wasn't able to get any rest really" Zach replied with a tired grin.
"But how about yourself?" Zach asked, eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Oh, same here," Amal said, her voice tinged with genuine fatigue. "But hey, I survived." Amal replied with a tired sigh, before pausing, Zach frowns probably ready to hear about why she wasn't getting any sleep, but before he could say another word, Amal continues on, with a serious facial expression "Oh, and before i forget to tell you, I'm not allowed to talk to you anymore, orders from the parentals above"
Zach's baby blue eyes widened in surprise, maybe even holding a hint of fear. "Huh? What did I do?" He sounded genuinely worried, possibly because he didn't want Amal's family to ever hate him. After all, he actually liked them-a lot, and if they really did tell Amal to stay away from him then he really must have messed up big time and that's something that he really doesn't want to do.
"Because I got home way past curfew last night," Amal whispered, leaning in closer, her eyes darting around as if someone might overhear. "And my parents decided to give me... 'the talk.' last night" She paused, letting the words hang ominously, her tone filled with a mix of frustration and something that made it sound like the 'talk' was more than just a typical lecture. "It was something that went on for hours, even after they sent me to my room. They were still stopping by to talk to me, even my sister was doing that And then, this morning, they still brought it up all over again during breakfast today, I barely was able to get any sleep last night." She glanced at Zach, as if daring him to ask what it was really about.
Zach's concern quickly transformed into amusement as he processes her words. He lets out a chuckle, unable to suppress his amusement making Amal's send him a confused look which only ended up fueling his laughter.
"What's so funny?" she asked, frustration creeping into her voice. She was not in the mood for Zach's antics today, she was too tired to play along honestly.
"Please Don't tell me that it's the same type of talk that Sam's mom decided to give to myself and Sam yesterday?" Zach whispered dramatically, making Amal raise an eyebrow.
"What was the talk that she gave you two all about?" She inquires out of curiosity Making Zach shiver dramatically as he whispers please don't remind me, as if recalling a nightmare.
Zach shivered theatrically, a grin creeping back onto his face. "Trust me, you don't want to know. Let's just say it involved a lot of awkward pauses and the kind of embarrassment that sticks with you forever having a parent say it to you." Okay so maybe she has seen a lot of parents on TV giving their children that type of talk before...Amal shuddered at the thought.
"Ew! No!, not that kind of talk!, i received a different type of talk, I mean "The talk " Amal clarified, trying to sound serious, making Zach raise a brow.
"Do you think that just because you repeat the same word a countless number of times, it would finally make sense to me?" Zach asks with a raised brow, and Amal gives him a sweet smile that looks more sinister than reassuring and then, out of nowhere, without warning, she swung her book at the back of his head...hard
