Regina found herself extremely inspired with her article topic and title that Killian tweaked. She wrote it until the day ended and late into the night, and then the next morning she was still going.

Killian observed how focused Regina was, he was almost never impressed by new writers. He always gave a fair shot, especially if their application articles were impressive, and Regina's indeed was. However, writing on a deadline was something that was difficult for most first time writers at magazines.

He was very impressed that Regina didn't seem to have a problem one bit moving quickly. Not to mention, she was gorgeous as she did it there at her desk at the office. He smiled, to himself through his office windows as the beautiful brunette typed.

Regina moved along, and felt eyes watching her and thought she caught Killian staring at her, but maybe she just wanted him to be staring at her. Every time she looked up he wasn't looking at her at all. She felt sort of silly for wanting her boss to be staring at her.

"Someone is watching you," Ruby said softly to Regina, "What?" She asked, trying to glance towards Killian's office. "He stopped, but he was," Ruby smiled at her. "Stop egging her on," Tiana said. "Why? Killian has never been impressed by any first timer here, and he's definitely watching her, and you know she's his type," Ruby bantered.

"True, but you don't want to ruin her flow with distracting her with the pretty boss, suggesting he's interested in her," Tiana said. "What's his story with ... .women?" Regina asked casually. "Well, I've never seen him with a woman, he's definitely not gay, had his heart broken I think a long time ago, he's pretty private, only one who knows him is Graham," Tiana said.

"Yeah, and you don't want to do what it takes to get information from Graham," Ruby nodded. "Oh god," Tiana scowled. "Sorry, as you were," Ruby sat back down. Regina let out a heavy sigh, she couldn't help but daydream a bit about Killian, and just the idea of him looking at her or being interested in her, was driving her wild.

Thursday Morning, Regina sauntered into the coffee shop. She had a lot of confidence, she was already finished her article and wanted to surprise Killian at the office a day earlier than she was required to hand him a first draft.

She ordered her normal latte, with an apple muffin, "Mmm, that sounds good, give me the same," Killian's voice echoed behind her after she ordered. "We really have to stop meeting like this Miss Mills," he smiled.

"This must be your normal place too," Regina said.

Regina's POV-- Jesus Regina, of course it is, that's why he's always running into you, it's two freaking blocks from the office, you idiot. I can't believe I just say the dumbest things around him.

Killian simply grinned at her, "It is, actually used to be an old place a block closer, but it closed, and frankly the coffee was always like sludge," Killian said. "Oh," Regina nodded, and they handed her her beverage.

Her work day began, of course she kept thinking about how sweet and different Killian was outside of the office. She was still his employee, but he treated her a bit different when he saw her at the coffee shop, as opposed to the office.

She had her article all finished and had it proofread, and she went towards Killian's office. He was alone, "I wouldn't bother him when he's on the phone," Tiana warned her. "Oh," Regina nodded, "Or I'm wrong," Tiana nodded towards Killian in his office.

Killian was waving Regina in, she looked at Tiana once more, and she grinned and winked at Regina. She felt her heart against her chest, like it wanted to jump from her body. She smiled at him, "Mmm, what can I do for you Miss Mills? Hit a stump?" He asked.

"Oh umm, on the contrary, I'm finished, I thought you may want it early," Regina said nervously. Killian's eyes opened a bit wide, even more impressed than he already was. "Is that so?" He quirked his mouth upward.

"Yes, Sir," she said nervously again. He held out his hand for it, and she quickly placed it in his. "Well, I'm impressed," He smiled. He was merely impressed it was done so soon, "I'll look it over and tomorrow let you know, since I was going to meet with you anyway, now we have something to discuss," he said.

"Great, should I start on something else?" She offered. "Mmmm, Thursday this group usually goes out, so enjoy your evening, that's what you can do, and I'll expect you to see me 9 am," he smiled.

Regina was so proud of herself, and went out with Ruby and Tiana, and home, her sister called her to check in. "Hi Zelena, I finished it early, and he was impressed with that. I guess he's never impressed with anyone," Regina told her on the phone.

"I'm flying into town again two weeks from now, to see you," Zelena told her. "Oh great!" Regina said happily and hung up with her sister, and got ready for bed. She really hoped that Killian would like what he read and be impressed in the morning.

Killian's Place

Killian sits in bed with a white tee, and pajama pants, and his own reading glasses, a sleek smile on his face as he reads Regina's first article. He's beyond impressed with her, her beauty, her writing, everything about her.

"Oh bloody hell Killian, what are you going to do about this? Talented, beautiful, attractive woman, you're a 35 year old, magazine prodigy," he said out loud to himself. Killian had 6 years over Regina, in age, but she held herself at such a poised attitude, except when she got flustered around Killian.

He loved she got a little clumsy and nervous around him, it was just telling him that he made her feel like that, which he assumes meant she liked him a bit.

Friday morning, Regina was hoping that she would have her morning run in with Killian, it happened 3 days out of 4 so far, so she hoped it would be 4 out of the 5 day week.

She ordered her latte, and a little pastry, and Killian didn't show up. She was a little bummed, and she left the shop and drank her beverage, "Well look who's late this time," Killian's smiley face is in front of her, "You." She said, trying not to spill anything.

"Yes, Me, tragic," He joked, "We have our meeting, 9:30," he smiled. "Yes I remember," Regina nodded. "Good, I was up late reading your work," he said. She couldn't really read if he liked it or not.

She smiled at him, and started off, "I couldn't put it down, Regina," he said. "You're definitely going to go places, I'm happy to have you," he said, referring to her being at the company, but in his mind, he wanted her in other ways too.

Regina grinned foolishly as she got to the office and to her desk.
