*Baby Crying*

"Shhh shhh shhhh.." Killian paced back and forth with the screeching baby in his arms, patting her back gently on his shoulder. "Come on honey," he pleaded at the infant, as she wailed.

Killian's POV - Come on, I need sleep, why is she so upset? I couldn't figure it out, she was dry, fed and just wouldn't go to sleep. She wasn't like this, she was always a good little sleeper.

Molly was now a week away from 3 months old, and it was just an off night for her. "Here, did you try her bottle?" Regina mumbles half awake coming into the nursery. "She drank 3 ounces," he said. "Well, maybe she just wants a little mommy," Regina shifted into the rocking chair and got Molly to nurse.

"Sometimes she just wants me," Regina said softly.

Regina's POV -- Molly was a good little eater and sleeper, and we had been giving her my milk in a bottle, but sometimes she just wanted her mommy skin to skin to settle her down.

Killian yawned and leaned against the crib, "Why don't you go to bed?" Regina suggested. "No I'm fine, I got up with her, I may as well stay with you two, until she goes back to sleep," he yawned again. Regina smiled at him, "One more week," she said.

"Yeah, kinda looking forward to you swaggering around the hallways again and our little coffee shop time," he grinned. "You missed me," She teased cutely. "Of course, but technically you're here, so," he joked back.

Settling the infant, she went back to sleep, and slept through the night. Killian woke up a little tired, and Regina got up with Molly and had her in the kitchen. Regina nibbled a corner of toast as she poured some coffee for Killian.

He buttoned his shirt as he came down the hallway and kissed the baby in her little seat, "Hi sweet angel," he said cutely taking his mug, and a piece of toast for himself. "You know I'm in the clear now," Regina nibbled her lip.

Killian looked at her with a full mouth of toast, and his eyebrows up. "Oh yeah? Clear for what I think you're saying?" He mumbled. "Mhmm," She grinned up at him. "Mmm, that's nice," he kissed her lips softly.

"What do you girls have planned for the day?" He asked. "Well, we have some morning naps, and some editing for me, some laundry, and lunch with Mary Margaret, and then an afternoon nap, likely some poop in there," Regina shrugged playfully. Killian laughed, "Very exciting," he gently stroked the baby's head.

"Ok, Daddy has to go," he kissed Molly's head. "Wish me luck, to not get gray hair," He said. "Mm, she will give you that soon enough," Regina said. "True," he kissed her goodbye and headed out to work.

Getting to his office, someone is waiting for him.

"I would say good morning, but," Graham pointed towards his office, as Killian rolled his eyes and sighed. "When the hell did he get here?" Killian asked. "About ten minutes ago," Graham said.

"Well well, Killian Jones, thought you were an early man, it's after 9 am," the man jeered at him. "What brings here so early Sam?" He asked with a disgruntled expression. "Well thought we could discuss technical things," the man shrugged.

Killian rolled his eyes again, and sat down, "How's the little one? I see you have a crib in here," Sam mocked a bit with a grin. "She's fine, she will be here in the office part time in a while," Killian admitted.

"That could be quite distracting, Mommy, Daddy and baby all together during the work day," He mused. "I know how to balance my office, and that's not your concern," Killian scoffed. "Now, what do you want?" Killian pressed, annoyed.

"Well your top writers all denied my offers," Sam moaned. "Of course they did," Killian smiled. "You've got your employees on quite the leash," Sam chided. "They're not on leashes, they just like me and the way I do business, less shady than you," Killian challenged.

"Well let's see how they react when I offer more than you can, I've got some help with funds coming in," Sam stood. Killian quirked his brow, "And? You think they're just going to ditch the jobs they have had here and go work for you?" Killian asked, unbothered.

"They could," Sam buttoned his sleek suit, as he made his way to the door. "They'll realize that you can't give them what I can," Sam said. "You're Daddy now anyway, shouldn't you be focused on that?" Sam asked. "How I balance my work and family is not your concern in the slightest," Killian sneered at him. "We'll see, good day," Sam smiled and left.

"I don't like him," Graham sidled up to him, "Yeah neither do I," Killian sighed. "What's wrong? Why do you seem affected? That's not like you," Graham shook his head. "I'm fine, just Molly was up a lot," He said.

"Killian you're allowed to be a parent, it's not affecting the magazine, you're letting him get in your head," Graham said. "You don't think I've gone soft? On the staff or competition?" Killian asked. "No, you're the same hard ass you always were, just have spit up on you now," Graham said.

"Thanks," Killian chuckled. "Maybe you should talk to Regina and find a way for Molly to not be in the office much when she comes back," Graham suggested. "How?" Killian sighed. "Well, now that you mention it, we've come up with an idea," Graham smiled. "Who's we?" Killian replied. "All of us, when the Cat's away the mice play, but sometimes we come up with genius things," Graham grinned.

Monday meeting

"Ok, so Sam has already started his hardball, and I truly understand if you all decide or some of you decide you want to accept his offers," Killian said. Graham raised his hand, "Since when do you behave by asking permission to talk?" Killian teased. "Yeah well, ok," Graham stood up.

"Ashley," Graham gestured. "So, umm, Elliot and I, and the rest of us, got together, and discussed one of the offices being used as a daycare for the office." Ashley said. "What?" Killian asked. "Yeah, I'm willing to give up my office," Elliot smiled.

"And we can turn that office into a daycare, it's all the way at the end of the hall, the kids could all be there, and I'm happy to give up my writing position to run it," Ashley smiled. "With Alexandra having days off from Preschool it's getting tough to balance her, and I spoke with someone you know to take my position," Ashley smiled.

Graham meanwhile was texting, and David entered, "Hi," he smiled. Killian was completely off guard, "Uhhh what?" Killian asked. "Well we know you like to be a control freak, but we also know that with this Sam guy coming in here, and now you have Molly, and Regina wants to return to work, we all thought of this. Mary Margaret's office also doesn't have anything for childcare, and we need the second income," David smiled.

"Wow, I don't know what to say," Killian shook his head in disbelief. "Good job Graham, you FINALLY made him speechless," Ruby chimed. Killian laughed, "This is a great plan, we can get on top of things, and have the kids within reach, and not in my office at the same time," he smiled.

"Thank you," he said. "I don't know if can pay you more than your current position Dave," Killian said. "That's ok, this gives me and Mary Margaret two incomes, and this is also finally being in your company," David smiled.

Graham and David and the group smiled proudly about their arrangements. "Uhh, let's get this started," Killian smiled at them.

At Home

"Yeah, who's my sweet angel," Regina beamed as Molly started to show her first smiles at her parents in the recent week. She gasped cutely as she heard Killian come in the door.

"Well hi," She smiled. "HI," he beamed brightly, "So you like the plan?" Regina asked. "You knew?" He asked. "Mary Margaret isn't the best at secrets," She laughed. He kissed her, "It's a great plan, and we get to have Molly with us," He smiled.
