As Christmas Eve drew closer, Regina began packing up things from her apartment. Having her boyfriend as the boss had its perks.

He paid Graham and some of the other guys to start moving boxes of Regina's things randomly through the week so it would be easier for her.
Killian was a generous boss, he made plenty of money as the editor and chief of the magazine, so he was very generous with the holiday bonuses.
Everyone got at least four digits and over five grand in their bonus checks from the party.

At the end of the first week, Killian had hung up all Regina's clothes in his place and organized some of her things. He was a control freak, and Regina didn't mind this at all, especially with Christmas coming she wanted her stuff put away so they could enjoy the holiday.

On the final Friday, week before Christmas Eve. Regina sighs, looking around the empty apartment that was her first home alone. She smiled, she was ready to move on and go forward with her life with Killian.
"Ready?" He asked with the last box in hand. Regina took her small decorative lamp in her hand and left the keys on the counter.

"Well well what's this?" Killian opens a book he found in a box. "No no!" Regina scolded and got on his back. Killian laughed and moved out of her reach as she tried to grab her high school yearbook.
"Come on Killian," Regina whined leaning against his back. Burying her face in his neck, she sighed.
He grinned as he flipped through the ten year old book. "Aww look at you," he discovered her senior picture. "Ok that's enough," she tried to grab it from his grasp.
He hops up and walks around reading some signatures, "thanks for the tutoring, Adam, ohhh that did you tutor him in?" Killian grinned. "French," Regina snapped playfully. "I can give you French lessons," Killian smirked. "Yeah well, give me that now," she pouted and held out her hand.

"Who's Kyle? Says, will never forget what you did for me prom night xoxo, hmm?" He winked. "Killian, he's gay, first of all," she crossed her arms cutely and smiled at him. "Oh, damn thought it would be juicy," he joked. "Yeah I was a good girl in high school thank you," she scoffed. "Yeah? You're naughty now," he put the book down and kissed her wildly.

"Well that's your fault," Regina chided back. "Mmm probably a bit," he grinned proudly.

Regina spent the weekend organizing the rest of her things. Killian started cooking dinner, and she came up behind him. "Mmm that smells good," she said wrapping her arms around his waist, and her head against his back.
"Mmm, you all unpacked?" He asked turning to wrap his arm around her.

"I think so,"she sighed looking around at a few pieces of furniture and one more box left. "What are we Umm doing for Christmas?" She asked shyly, realizing that was one thing they hadn't discussed yet, holiday traditions.

"Oh well umm if your sister visits, by all means we can plan company. Graham and my families are in Ireland so we tend to get together since they can't always come, and Umm we can get a tree?" He suggested. Regina smiled and nodded at him, "ok good, I forgot we didn't talk about that, when do I get to meet your family?" She asked.
"Hopefully they'll be along by New Year's, tend to get flight deals, they know about you though," he smiled.

Regina's POV- I hope they like me. My sister loved him and that was the only family I had, his family was a little bigger so I was a little nervous.

"Oh I make a lot of special treats for Christmas," he smiled. "Really? I love to make little treats," Regina smiled.
She realized that they had discussed literally everything about their lives and what they wanted for the future except holidays, so this was exciting that they finally got to this. It had been so busy moving in, Regina didn't even think of it until now.

Regina hoped that the gifts she had gotten for Killian were good enough. He loved her, she didn't know why she cared so much. He was pretty well off money wise but not a superficial person. It still made her nervous because he had been so romantic and sweet with the key and other little gifts before now.

It was the first Monday of work where they officially lived together, and they would be done work Wednesday for the holiday. Killian gave all workers two days before Christmas and after it off. He had strong family values and didn't want anyone working when they could travel to see families.

"I'll Umm, see you up there," Regina held back at the coffee shop, "really? That's silly, come on," he tugged her hand with him and they went off the elevator hand in hand.
"Aww They're Like two Turtle doves," Tiana smiled cutely at them. "Yeah yeah, see you at the meeting," he kissed Regina's cheek heading to his office. Graham wheeled his chair out, wearing a Santa hat, "Ho ho ho!" He said.
"Yes you are," killian teased. "Grinch!" Graham yelled. "Elf!" Killian snapped back.

The office was joyful and the meeting there wasn't much to discuss, since the holiday. "So since we're not back until after Christmas, I want you to pick your own topic and present it that Wednesday afterwards, our Monday meeting will be that day instead.
"That's all," he said in his Meryl Streep way.

It finally was Christmas Eve and they had got a tree and were decorating it. "You keep eating the popcorn," Regina whined as she was stringing it with cranberries. "It's good," he mumbled and kissed her sweetly.
"Yes but we need it for the garland," she smiled against his mouth. "Yeah so the tree won't be even," he shrugged and stole another kiss.

As the night fell, their first Christmas tree glowed in the living room, and they stood watching it. "Look," Regina went to the window, "it's snowing," she smiled.

Killian's POV- look at how beautiful she is. The light of the tree just danced off her and the snow fell outside the window softly.

"Merry Christmas," he smiled, taking her for a kiss. "Merry Christmas," she nuzzled his face, as they watched the snow fall.

"You know at midnight you can have a present," he grinned. "Can I?" she looked at the pretty packages under their tree. He nodded.

"You can too," she said.
Regina opened a pretty red package, it was small and inside was a necklace, with a beautiful heart on it. "Oh Killian," she sighed happily.

He smiled and helped her put it on, and took a little box from under the tree. Regina smiled and bit her lip watching him open it with a playful grin.

"Oh my god," he lit up. "So Graham can't complain now either," she said. "Season tickets, on the ice!?" He gasped excitedly. "How on earth with the salary I give you?" He asked. "the bonus," she shrugged.

"That's for you," he said sweetly, "but I love you, and wanted to get you something special," she shrugged. "Aww," he kissed her softly.
