"Ok once we figured out the instructions in English, this is getting easier," Graham flipped the paper on the floor. "Where does this one go?" Killian held up a spare bolt. Regina smiled, coming toward them with her now very round belly. "How's the crib building guys?" Regina handed them each a beer.
"Well we'll stick to writing, but I think we can handle this," Killian smiled. Regina sat and gently touched her tummy, now only a couple months away from welcoming their baby.
"Oh so we're all going out Saturday," Graham said. "With you and Mary Margaret both expecting we picked a buffet," Graham teased playfully. Regina stuck her tongue out at him. "Did they find out?" Killian asked. "No, they're waiting for the surprise like you two," Graham said.
"The office is making bets," Graham smiled. "On what?" Killian asked. "The baby, what it is," Graham said. "Oh goodness, you're all gambling over it?" Regina asked. "It's just good fun, and I think that baby is a girl," Graham said. "Do you?" Killian asked. "Yeah, definitely a little girl, and I think you should name her Hunter after my last name," Graham smiles.
Killian rolls his eyes, "yeah, that's not happening," Killian shook his head. "Come on, Hunter is a cute girl name," Graham whines. "Maybe David will name his that, or if he has a son, maybe," Killian shrugged. "Ok fine, you have any names picked?" Graham asked.
"I want something Star Wars but Regina won't let me," Killian whined. "That's not it, I just don't want to name her Leia or a boy Luke," Regina said. "What about Rey? That's the new Star Wars, or even better GIN!" Graham smiled playfully.
"You guys," Regina shook her head exasperated at the pair. "Ok, let's finish this thing," Killian said.
Regina's POV-- Ok I had to pee about ten times in an hour, and suddenly I felt a weird ping in my lower abdomen, down where I think the baby's hand was. Ok that doesn't feel right. Killian is so exhausted though, I'm sure it's fine. No, it's not.
"Killian," Regina nudged him nervously, waking him at 2 am. "What?" He grunted, "Something's wrong, I feel something," Regina started to breathe heavily. "Ok just relax, you feel contractions?" Killian asked and slipped his pants on. "I don't know," she shook her head nervously. "Ok, just breathe, let's go to the ER," Killian said.
Killian's POV- God, no ,don't let anything be wrong.
Killian and Regina rushed to the Emergency room, and were seen quickly by a Doctor. "Ok, she's fine, they're called Braxton Hicks, little contractions," the doctor eased. "Oh, so she's not in labor?" Killian asked. "No, they're normal around 6 months, and they can fool you, so it's good you came in," the doctor said.
"So she's fine?" Killian asked again, "Yes, baby and mommy are perfect, don't worry, no dilating, she's fine," the doctor assured him. Killian took a breath, probably first one in hours. "Good," He gently placed his hand on her head. "Sorry," Regina shrugged.
"What? Don't be sorry, you heard them it's good we came," Killian said. "I want to know how you feel at all times," he said softly.
Regina's POV - He's so sweet, and loves me so much, he's probably so tired.
Killian grunted in bed at 7 am, forcing his eyes open, and getting up. "Why don't you come in late?" He suggested to Regina. "You sure?" She yawned. "Yes, I'm the boss, I can make that possible," he winked. "Get some sleep," he smiled and kissed her gently.
Killian yawned at the coffee shop, "What kept you up huh?" Graham nudged, "I wish it was that, but it wasn't, she had contractions," Killian said. "What? She ok?" Graham asked gently. "Yeah, she's fine mate," Killian said. "Why the hell don't you call me?" Graham scolded him.
"Didn't know you cared," Killian teased. "Shut up ass, that woman is your love, and that kid is going to be ... am I going to be something?" He asked. "Sure you are, Uncle Graham," Killian smiled. "See? Just call me you know?" Graham asked.
Killian smiled softly at him, "Ok, I will, at 3 am," He said. "I don't care what time," Graham said. "Aww you're getting all sappy on me, are you pregnant too?" Killian teased. "Shut up ass, you know I care," Graham said.
Regina headed into work at 11, "Hey mommy," Tiana smiled at her. "Hear you had a scare, here, sit," Ruby gently helped her. "Ok you guys, I'm fine," Regina defended. "Just take it easy," Ruby said.
Ashley briefly brought little Alex into the office for a few minutes, and talked to Killian, Regina sweetly brought little Alex a cup of milk. "Almost time for you," Ashley smiled. "Yeah," Regina sighed and looked at the toddler.
Regina started to cry looking at the little girl. "Oh," Killian reacted and took a tissue from his pocket. "I don't even know why," Regina choked out wiping her eyes. Killian smiled softly. "It's ok honey, thanks Ashley, bye bye," Killian said sweetly to the little one.
Killian and Regina headed home, "Surprise!" Zelena smiled brightly as they came in the door. "Zelena!" Regina greeted her with hug. "Oh look at you, all expecting and cute," Zelena touched her belly cutely. "You did this?" Regina asked.
"Mm, I called her and booked her flight," Killian winked. "He flew me first class, I really like him," Zelena said. "Where's your things?" Killian asked. "At the hotel," Zelena said. "What? That's nonsense, stay here," Killian said. "In the nursery?" Zelena asked. "Well I don't know, that's just silly," Killian scoffed.
"Fine I'll put it on the company expense account," Killian said. "Oh I think I like you too much," Zelena said. "How long are you here?" Regina asked. "Couple weeks, I took a vacation, can you believe it? Me," Zelena said. "Need to be here for my little sister and her bundle of joy," Zelena said.
Regina smiled at them both, so relieved her sister was there now. Killian was a little more at ease too.
Regina fell asleep early, and Zelena and Killian sat up having a glass of wine. "So not to be too invasive, but when did you intend on making my sister an honest woman?" Zelena asked.
Killian pressed his lips together, "You mean propose?" He asked with a quirk in his brow. "Well yeah," Zelena shrugged. "Funny you should mention," he shifted and took a box from his pocket. Zelena smiled, and opened it.
Inside was a diamond and sapphire ring. "Oh it's beautiful, you are well off aren't you?" Zelena asked. "Yeah well, I put sapphire in it, because the baby is due in September, so birthstone, you know?" He shrugged.
"It's beautiful," Zelena agreed. "Yeah, I don't know when I'm asking, but you're her only relative, so I wanted to ask you if I have your blessing," He said. Zelena smiled at him, "Of course you do, you're taking wonderful care of her," she toasted his glass.
"As a woman, I would recommend maybe after the little one is born," she hinted. "Good tip," Killian nodded.
