"No Daddy!" Molly's fierce little accented voice echoed through the apartment. "Excuse me? Go in the corner right now," Killian said sternly as he stood up and pointed toward the left corner of the room. "Nooooo," Molly whined dramatically at him.
"What is going on out here?" Regina came out crossing her arms. Killian crosses his arms looking down at his mini version of himself. "Molly you don't talk to your Daddy like that," Regina scolded, "go on in the corner," she affirmed. "Mmm!!" Molly growled.
"Go right now, or Daddy counts to three," Regina warned. "Nooo," Molly whined softly this time. "Hmmm go on, or I count," Killian confirmed.
Killian and Regina were both firm, and time out was their most frequent disciplinary action with a talk about it, and following with taking something away if necessary. On a rare occasion, Killian would give a light two or three spanks on her behind, which would happen if he counted all the way to three.
Molly sulked And headed into her corner with her arms crossed and head down.Regina stood by Killian and they watched, timing it for 6 minutes, her age. "What did she do?" Regina asked.
Killian and Regina always supported each other as parents. If one was giving a punishment, the other just agreed even if they didn't know the crime in the moment. They believed parents should not disagree about punishment in front of the child.
Killian was very fair, so Regina rarely thought he was ever too harsh."She sassed me and demanded sweets," he explained. Regina nodded, supporting his punishment. They headed to the kitchen to wait out the remaining minutes of their little one's time out.
"So I got my article done a bit early, I need to tweak a bit I feel like," Regina sighed. "Did I turn you into this perfectionist?" Killian mused cutely. "Mmm I came that way," Regina winked."Ok darling come here," Killian sat on the couch and Molly came to him. She was quite pitiful and dramatic, and pouted her lip at him. "Now, after dinner as I promised you can have a treat, isn't Daddy a man of his word?" He asked.
"What's that mean?" The curious 6 year old asked. "It means that Daddy does as he says; always," Regina confirmed. "Ok," Molly nodded. "We use our words when we want something and we don't throw a fit when we don't get our way," Regina reminded.
"Ok," Molly agreed. "Daddy has to go to the store, if you're good I'll take you and you can pick a special dessert," Killian agreed.
Molly gasped cutely at him, and ran to get her shoes, Killian chuckled, she was a predictable six year old. "You sure you don't mind?" Regina smiled and pressed her lips to his. "Mm, no of course not, you want any treats?" he grinned.
"Mmm you're my treat, later," Regina winked, and kissed him again. "I'm ready!" Molly came scampering out to them all set to go out with her Dad. "Ok, come on you," Killian picked her up, and she kissed Regina goodbye. "Not too many treats," Regina said playfully. "Daddy said," Molly grinned cheekily.
"She's you all over," Regina sighed. "Yeah right, not that smile," Killian winked heading out the door with Molly on his hip.
"Ok, so we need, can you read this?" Killian showed Molly the list, "Umm Bananas," She read. "Good, and?" he followed up, as he placed Bananas in the cart. "Umm, cheese," Molly grinned. "Mmm, you like cheese," he tickled her cheek. Molly giggled and Killian put the rest of the items in the cart.
"Ok, treat, you want something from bakery or cold?" He asked. "Ice cream," Molly smiled. "Mmmm, ok," he pushed the cart with her, down the frozen aisle. "That one!" Molly pointed. "Ok raspberry chocolate chip," He smiled and put it in the cart for her. "Sprinkles? please?" She added with a cute little face.
Killian's POV- -Man this child is so flipping cute. I'm madly in love with her, and her mum. She has Regina's gorgeous skin tone and her bright smile. She was just so sweet. It was Friday, but I really needed to get work done, but it was against the deal to work on Fridays and at home in general. Perhaps I could get the child on my side for it.
"So, Molly, you know what Daddy does, and sometimes it's a lot of work," He said. "I know," Molly stated. "Well, I know Daddy doesn't work at home, but what if you sit on my lap, and I type something up quickly, and you help?" He asked.
"How can I help?" Molly asked. "Well, you just have to answer a couple questions, the article is about kids in school actually," He said. "I can help!" Molly smiled. "Ok, we just have to convince Mummy, that you don't mind starting the movie a little later than usual," He smiled.
Carrying Molly into the apartment, with a bag in his other hand, Killian grinned. "Well thank you shoppers," Regina smiled. "Daddy needs my help!" Molly squealed. "Does he?" Regina asked. "Uhh yeah, don't get mad," Killian said gently.
"Oh Killian," Regina sighed. "I'm finishing a little blurb about kids in school and I could use her little expertise," he said. "I get to help Daddy!" Molly said excitedly. Regina sighed. "She's excited, and it will just delay our movie plans about 25 minutes?" Killian pleaded with a cute look on his face. "Fine," Regina agreed.
"I'll make Pizza, you guys go do that, so that we can stick to our routine," Regina said in a maternal tone. "Yes Mummy, this one picked your favorite ice cream too," He winked.
Killian sat at the table with Molly on his lap, and got out his laptop. "So let's see here, this part I need you. How much do you get to play with friends in school?" he asked. "Recess is I think half hour, and it's after lunch," Molly answered.
"Mmm and what kinds of things do you do at recess?" Killian asked. "I play with my friends, but sometimes no," Molly said with a soft voice. Regina overheard that answer, and noticed the change in Molly's voice, as did Killian.
"Why not?" He asked, and stopped typing. "Because sometimes some kids are mean to us," Molly said. "Oh?" He asked, getting a little concerned now. "Yeah, some kids are mean," Molly said looking up at him.
Regina came and sat next to them, "What kids honey?" Regina asked. "Just a couple kids, they're not nice to us, because they're bigger," Molly said. "Oh I see," Regina nodded. Killian looked at her, and plopped Molly down, "Go wash for dinner," He pat her off.
Regina sighed, "Ok, before you go in all guns blazing," Killian said. "What? Look who's talking? The vein in your forehead is popping out," Regina said. "Ok, we just talk to the school, I'm sure she's fine," Killian said.
Next day, at school
"What are you doing here?" Regina walked up with Molly and Killian, "Auntie Z!!" Molly squealed. "Hello munchkin," Zelena kissed her cheek. "Well where are they?" Graham asked. "Are you kidding me? You two came just to what? Hit 7 year olds?" Killian asked. "Maybe," Graham shrugged.
"I see my friend mummy," Molly pointed and she headed off to her friend. "Well some nasty kids are being mean to my niece, we wanted to help, and hurt them." Zelena smiled.
Killian and Regina calmly sorted out the school issue, and headed to work, "So?" Tiana and Ruby greeted them. "What?" Regina shrugged. "Who's the jerks being mean to the little one?" Ruby asked.
Killian chuckled. "You guys, she's fine," Regina laughed at them. "It was just a couple bigger kids picking on her and her friend," Regina said. "Don't lie, you wanted to kill them," Tiana stated. "Yes.. Yes I did, guilty," Regina shrugged. Killian laughed, "But we can't do that, you see," Killian smiled.
"You wanted to kill them too," Ruby laughed. "I did, but Regina wouldn't let me," Killian said. "That's because I wanted to," Regina smiled.
"Well it's all fine now, and I've already got Molly in training for being a little writer someday," Killian smiled. "She will be, and she will be a great one," Regina smiled. "Like her mother," Regina teased Killian.
"Hopefully," Killian winked.
