Chapter 23 Party

"What do you think?" Regina twirled in a beautiful red dress. "Mmm I think let's skip the party," Killian growled and tugged her to him for a sexy kiss.
He was in a suit, half buttoned up, "you have to go, you're the boss," she smiled at him gently pushing him off her.
"Fine but I don't want to," he whined. "Come on you have to give out the bonuses," Regina smiled.

"Mmm, you want a present?" He grinned and bit his lip. "Is it in your pocket or you're just happy to see me?" She teased feeling something against her hip.
"Mmm both, but get it in my pocket," he winked. She stared at him a moment, "the box," he laughed.

She reached in and got a box, she thought a moment, it was a jewelry box, and she smiled. "Open it," he said.

Regina's POV- too big for a ring, maybe a necklace, or bracelet. I opened the velvet lid and inside was, "a key?" I had an idea but wasn't sure.

"Yup, a key, to my heart," he grinned. "Aww," she sighed, "and the apartment," he added. Regina stared at him, "that's yours," he hinted.
"You? Want me to move in?" She asked.

Regina's POV- please say yes

Killian's POV- please say yes

"Yes," he nodded. Regina gasped cutely and put her arms over his shoulders, jumping a bit. "Is that a yes?" He asked. "Mmhmm," she nodded quickly, being overly excited now. He kissed her holding her body to his.
"Oh that is you happy to see me now," Regina grinned. "Mmm we have time," he kissed her and landed her backwards on the bed.

They eventually finished getting ready, "we're going to be late," Regina sighed, putting her heels on, blushing from what they just did.
"That's your thing," he winked, starting his tie.

"Let me do that," she stood up and started to do his tie for him. "How do you know how to do this?" He asked cutely. "My grandfather liked ties on Sunday," she smiled.

Killian's POV- She's so precious, I'm happy she said yes, I want to be with her indefinitely. For the rest of my life.

Regina's POV- I'm so excited, I love him so much. We just were so great together even after roughly three months.

The pair synced so well together. Regina was doing quite well at work. He was often impressed. They enjoyed all their time together and just fit into the others life perfectly. Regina's sister very much approved of Killian and Regina always called her excited to update her weekly.

It was just going so well, Regina didn't think it could possibly get any better.

They got themselves together and headed to the office holiday party. Killian would have to schmooze a lot of people that didn't work in the normal fifty person office.
Regina would get to socialize with everyone and of course be on his arm as well.

They arrived and Regina just kept smiling. She was in love, with the boss, who gave her a key and of course she was just laid.
Her hand stayed on Killian's arm as they greeted the regular staff and friends.

Regina looked around at the beautiful space and there were waiters walking around with glasses of champagne and snacks.
"Excuse me love?" Killian gestured to walk away for a moment. Regina beamed at Tiana and Ruby.
"Ok what happened before you came here? besides the obvious quickie," Ruby said.
Regina blushed, and laughed, it was true.

"Well he gave me a key in a jewelry box, and said it was the key to his heart," Regina teased them a bit. "Ok corny but cute," Tiana said. "But it's his apartment key and he wants me to move in," Regina said quickly, again so excited to just say it out loud.
"Wow did I hear it correctly? Killian asked you to move in?" Graham popped up behind them. "Yes," Regina affirmed.

"Wow, impressive," Graham said. "What are you talking about? He loves her," Ruby scolded him. "I know that, hello I'm the closest person to him, of course I know that," Graham said.
"You're not the closest anymore," Tiana teased.

"I know he even ditched me for racquetball," Graham whined. "You still play with him twice a week," Regina defended. "Yeah you took him for weekends, and now he watches hockey with you too," Graham said. "Oh well!" Regina mocked playfully.
"You can't complain anyway since you encouraged him to go out with me to begin with," Regina teased. "Damn So it is my fault, fine then I get the credit," Graham said. "Credit for?" Killian asked coming over taking Regina's hand.

"Hooking you two up," he smiled. "Yeah right, pretty sure I asked her out," Killian argued. "What? I helped you," Graham whined. "He just wants credit for the happy couple moving in," Tiana nudged Killian's side.
"Yes well taking the plunge, I'm 35, very in love and ready and if this beautiful creature is happy with me, then, why not?" He smiled at Regina.
"Meh, you're okay," Regina shrugged with a side eye wink.

Killian gasped playfully at her and kissed her, "ok time for my big speech now," he said cutely and headed to the front of large ballroom.

"Attention!" He used his office voice. Catching the groups eyes now. "Well, another year coming to an end, lots of success with this year's issues. Made it on the top five lists ten months out of 12, I'll let those two other months slide, since we stayed in the top ten," he joked.

He looked at Regina, "uhh many new things happened this year, bringing the company a lot of happiness," he smirked at her. She blushed and looked down, since people knew he meant her.
"I'm proud of all of you for your hard work, and you'll find in the envelopes on the back table should show you some monetary appreciation from me, since you all drive me crazy and are a pain in the ass I can't really compliment any of you," he joked, getting some laughs. "We know!" Graham yelled. "You're the biggest!" Killian yelled back at him.
"I hope you had a great year and here's to the next year," he held up his glass.
The group copied him and all drank.

"Pretty suave," Regina smiled at him returning to his side. "Yeah well I try," Killian smiled.
Now into the party, everyone started to drink and kick back picking up their generous envelopes in the back.
"Thank you Killian," Tiana and others hugged him in thanks. "You're welcome, I hope this upcoming holiday week brings your beignets back to the office?" Killian grinned. "Indeed," Tiana smiled.

"Uhh So, I thought," Killian got shy a moment again, "that Christmas could be your first night in your new home?" He asked Regina. She grinned hugely and tried not to squeal. "I would love that, I think I can pack in two weeks," Regina giggled. "I'll help," he kissed her sweetly.

"Is that my bonus?" Regina asked. "No you have an envelope back there too like everyone else," he winked. "I like you better," she smiled. "Ok then I'll keep the bonus," he joked. "No I want that," she poked his ribs. "Mmm" he kissed her again, "but you're the better bonus," she smiled.
"You're definitely mine," he agreed.
