Jaiden's POV
I woke up to a loud clap of thunder. A huge flash of lighting comes right after it. Wow. This storm isn't going down, I thought. Then I realize. I'm on James shoulder! I quickly sit up,embarrassed.
The sudden movement also woke James up.
James- W- What's wrong... *bolts up* Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!
Jaiden- No, i-it's fi-
James- I should have let you sleep, I should have carried you over to the bed...
He would carry me to the bed. CARRY ME. He would carry me to HIS bed and would sleep on the couch for ME. I can't breathe I can't breathe icantbreathe. Another loud clap of thunder disturbs my thoughts.
Jaiden- No... I... um...uh... it's fine. Really... I'm fine... I was comfortable.
OH SHOOT! WHAT DID I SAY! AH NO! NO NO NO!
Jaiden- I mean... I was comfortable cause of how soft your couch is!
Why brain WHYYY
James- ...Ok Jaiden, but you'll be more comfortable in my bed let's go.
With that, he picks me up bridal style and carries me upstairs to his room before I object.
ABORT MISSION, ABORT MISSION, ABORT ABORT ABORT!!!
Jaiden- James, I'm fine, really just let m-
James- NOPE NUH UH NO YOU'RE NOT GONNA SAY ANOTHER WORD.
I'm blushing. I'm blushing. He can't see me like this. I'm BLUSHING.
James' POV
Is she blushing?
...
Must just be a trick of the light.
Oh well. I set her down in my bed.
James- Now isn't this more comfortable.
Jaiden- Your right... But I will still sleep on the couch!
James- Jaiden! I didn't freaking carry you up here just so you would go back downstairs!
Jaiden- Fine you win...
James- Good.
Jaiden- ...but I'm not tired anymore.
James- Well I guess we have to talk till you are tired again.
Jaiden- ...Are you going to read me Goldilocks and the three bears?
James- No, that's so childish! We're gonna read Cinderella.
Jaiden- Obviously. That's why you have it on your shelf.
James- It's nostalgia! It won't let me get rid of it!
Jaiden- Whatever *giggles* What if you read me your first book you ever made.
James- Seriously.
I laughed.
Jaiden- Yeah! In your YouTube video you skipped a bunch of pages!
James- For good reason!
Jaiden- Pleaseeeee
James- Fine. Only cause we're bored.
I reach over to my bookshelf, and grab the book from underneath a stack.
James- I hope you like this...
She just smiles. It makes me feel... strange... but it's a good strange.
