A/N: Heyy! This chapter is dedicated to the lovely The_Mystic_V who is honestly such a sweetheart go follow her!

The day flew by quicker than I expected, and soon enough it was lunch. Ever since my panic attack, I have been eating under the cherry blossom tree at the back of the school.

"Nya!~"

Lifted my head from my neatly-crafted bento box, only to find Hinata running towards me like a ball of flames. "Y/N!"
He giggled. I quickly closed over my bento and groaned. Hinata reached me within seconds, plodding himself on the bench beside me. "Hi." I sighed, fiddling with Sugawara's jacket awkwardly.

Why is it so hard to find peace in this place?!

Hinata smiled, crossing his legs in a sitting formation. "I've been thinking..." I desperately attempted not to laugh at that sentence alone. If Hinata had more than two brain cells he'd be dangerous. "And I realized something. What position are you planning to play?" He giggled.

I shrugged my shoulders and ran a hand through my (h/c) hair in thought. Suga had told me I would make a good spiker, but my heart just wasn't in it. I wasn't exactly the kind of girl that liked all the attention, so scoring would be more of a nightmare than anything. Just imagining everyone's eyes on me made me shiver.

"I'm not sure yet..." I answered honestly, matching Hinata's eyes with my own. "Maybe... Setter? I'm not exactly s-" My sent trailed off as I saw Hinata's grin go from nice to slightly menacing in less than two seconds.

"Ooohooo. Someone definitely has a thing for setters anyway.~" He teased, poking Suga's jacket with a smirk plastered over his rosey cheeks. I quickly shook my head in protest, slapping Hinata lightly on the leg.

"Stop that! It's not like that!" I groaned, a blush creeping across my cheeks. "I mean, I'll admit, ever since I saw Suga play in that match I've been thinking about it." I smiled as my mind drifted back to his easy and carefree tosses, or the way his hair flew with the wind as he ran. It set my heart on fire just thinking about it.

Hinata stood, his face suddenly thoughtful and inquisitive. "Now I know why you invited him..." he whispered, more to himself than he was to me. "Alright." He declared, standing up with a cheesy army-salute.

"I want you at practice, 4:05 pm sharp in gymnasium three." His fists clenched and his seemingly ginormous smirk was replaced with a cheeky grin. "And bring all you've got, Y/L/N. The game has just begun."

I nodded quietly as he slapped my arm and ran off to join his friends inside the school. His touch sent shivers down my spine as I realized I had unknowingly motivated Hinata in some way or another. It was... kind of scary.

*4:04 pm, Monday the 23rd of November*

Not surprisingly, Hinata and Sugawara were already practicing served when I arrived at gym three in my yoga pants, T-shirt and runners. My h/c hair was tied up in a tightly secured ponytail and supported by, as Noya had stated when I was getting dressed, 'at least fifteen cans of hairspray'.

"Let's get to work, boys!"

Sugawara's POV

Oh
My
God.

My hands were shaking slightly as I tossed the ball to Y/N, it was like every single nerve in my body had this electric buzz. She had me wrapped around her fragile little fingers and didn't even know it. It was driving me crazy.

Her hair was pulled so tightly in a ponytail that it lifted her face slightly, making her look younger and more energetic. It was beautiful.

"SUGA-SAN!"

Suddenly, the ball came flying over to me. I somehow managed to catch it in my arms, stumbling backwards slightly from the speed of the intake. Hinata was giggling uncontrollably as Y/N scratched her neck awkwardly. "Oops." She chuckled. I watched the way her shoulders raised and fell as she laughed. I shook my head with mock disgust and threw the ball back at her. "Watch it there, kiddo." I smiled, running a hand through my hair.

The practice flew by pretty easily, and Y/N could keep up quite well. Her spikes were gaining momentum and her retrieves were nearly surpassing Hinata's. Although, surpassing that carrot-top isn't really a hard thing to do.

Hinata hesitated for a moment, his chest dramatically swaying as sweat fell down his forehead. He looked... disappointed?

"TIME! Take a break." I called. I watched as Y/N ran to the bathroom to wash down her face, and beckoned Hinata over.

"What's wrong ginger?" I asked, slouching against the wall. He shook his head and ran his hand through his hair in thought. "I can't do it!" He whined, picking up a water bottle and chugging it. "She wants to be a goddamn setter, Suga! How the hell am I supposed to teach her how to set when even I don't know?!"

I chuckled at his panicked face and snatched the bottle from his hands, downing the rest of it before placing the empty bottle on the ground beside him. "I'll do it." I half-joked, not really expecting a serious answer in return. "REALLY?!" Hinata yelled, kicking the carefully-placed bottle across the room in excitement. My hazel eyes widened to meet his own, and I immediately realized what I just said.

"I-I uh, I guess?" My brows furrowed in confusion as I took a few steps forwards, taking my back off the wall.

"What's the worst that could happen?"
