Anna's POV"How many are invading?"
"Just the usual group," I roll my eyes at Logan's question.
"What do you plan to do?" Adam comes and sits next to me, with his chicken and pasta for lunch.
"Girl stuff, I don't know. Maybe hang out in the pool."
"The pool will be too cold, it's March."
"So? It would still be fun," I shrug.
"Do you want to get pneumonia?" Brett walks in with bags of groceries.
"Ohh, did you get the Oreos and strawberries?" I jump off my seat to see what snacks Brett has bought.
"Adam, Logan, can you guys get the last bits - there's a crate of beers Steve said he had in the garage," Brett instructs.
They nod and walk out to the garage.
"Anna, go and finish your lunch. And no swimming in the pool later, do you hear me?" Brett ushers me out of the way.
"But-" I try.
"Eat! Now! Or I will cancel the sleepover!" Brett threatens.
"Fine," I grumble and sit back on the breakfast bar, finishing my lunch.
"What's up people?" Louis walks in. "Ooh, snacks!" He delves into the bags.
"No! They are mine for the sleepover!" I jump off my stool once again to save my babies. I mean, snacks.
"Louis, I got your own Oreos," Brett rolls his eyes before handing Louis his favourite birthday cake Oreos that no one else is allowed to touch under any circumstances.
"Your getting soft, I swear!" Louis pretends to be alarmed by Brett's unusual kind gesture. "What's the catch?"
"Shut up, idiot. You need to watch the girls so I can go out with Kayla."
"You can't leave me with them!" Louis panics, looking at me and then at Brett. "How am I gonna deal with loads of squealy, hormonal teenagers?"
"Hey!" I lightly punch Louis' arm to which he glares at.
"Actually, it would only be three hormonal teenagers - Anna's not hormonal," Louis sniggers.
"Yet," Brett adds.
I hit my stupid brother Louis for the second time in about a minute, to which he ignores which is probably for the best.
"But, I suppose it would be in my best interest to stay - Mum did say she'd give me thirty bucks for looking after you," Brett thinks out loud.
"That's the only reason I'm staying, for the cash," Louis agrees.
I'm really feeling the love tonight. Idiot brothers.
"You know what guys, I don't even need either of you here, neither Adam and Logan," I declare.
They both frown at me and shake there heads in sync, looking at me like I have something on my face.
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. For the last time - finish your lunch!" Brett replies and points to my half eaten food.
I decide not to push Brett's patience so I finish my lunch without protest.
"I'm going over to Casper's," Logan announces as he and Adam come in with the extra stuff and put it all on the counters.
"Okay," Louis nods.
