Jase and Jacob met at the cafe, the same time and place as usual. To think that three weeks ago neither of them knew each other was in awe. The conversation dropped right out of their mouths as if they had know each other for years. They needed to enjoy this time while they had it, because life will not always be this pleasant.

"Hey Jase."
"Hey...umm what's wrong?"
"What do mean?" His voice wavered, as if he were hiding something.
"You just sound....off."
"I'm probably just a little bit tired, you know, my sister and everything." He was tired, but that wasn't all.
"Oh, okay." Jase spoke unconvinced.
"I'm fine."
"I have an idea! We should go out to a fair or park or something for a day, just us. No worries! No stresses! Does it sound good?"
"Yes. I need...a break. It's been way to stressful lately."
"How does this Saturday sound? I'll plan it all!"
"That sound perfect. Just....perfect. You're the best, Jase."
"You're pretty amazing too." Jase spoke as his cheeks flushed.
"Umm should we order some coffee?"
"Probably, I'm going to try some double espresso today."
"And I'll have some hot chocolate."
"Ha!"
"You'll love the espresso, it's amazing!"
"Doubt it. Can't top hot chocolate!"
"We'll see about that...."
"Oh so you know how we were playing twenty questions earlier, we should play it again. But I want to ask the questions this time!"
"Fair enough."
"Are you in college?"
"A college up north."
"Umm...... Favorite pet?"
"Turtle."
"Turtle?"
"Don't hate on turtles!"
"They're just so slow!"
"Next question!"
"Book or movie?"
"Movie."
"Breakfast or dinner?"
"Breakfast for dinner."
"Okay pause! I'm going to get our drinks."
"I'll come with!"
"Okay.....it's official double espresso is the second best drink on this planet!"
"Hot chocolate is still a child's drink."
"It's still my number one....."
A/N: So bad news...my book didn't make the Watty's at all. I'll try again next year with this book if it takes that long to finish, or a unpublished book. Anyways...thank for reading!
