"Don't forget to look down! It adds some extra excitement!"

"Thanks. I should probably go hook up, you know, before he starts counting."

"Good idea."

All I could think of was Jacob, how he had done this just minutes ago. Why was I so scared now? He seemed fearless. As soon as I hooked up to the wire, and the official checked it, I heard counting. Ten....oh gosh Nine.....I'm going to die. The next went by so fast, that I couldn't think. Eight...seven...six...five...four...
This is it. Three...two...one. And I leaned back as the sky started falling, wait no it got further away, I was the falling one. Then I remember what Jacob had said, look down. So I did. And boy I was petrified, I couldn't even speak. To be fair, I was falling at an extreme rate, but nonetheless I could speak. All that came out was a yelp. I was waiting to hit the water, and oh wait a bad belly flop that would be, and then I started bouncing back up. Hmm guess I wasn't going to die. Then I focused in on Jacob, who was staring at me. He was smiling, and I smiled back. He gave me a thumbs up, and as I went to give him one I realized I couldn't move that well with all the pressure. Mine ended up being more like a fist bump. Finally it was over though, and I was pulled up back to the bridge.

A/N: Sorry for the 'advertising' but if you enjoy poetry and find yourself with a few spare seconds would you mind looking at my book "Nostalgia" and telling me what you think. Thank you! And thank you anyways for reading this chapter, sorry it's sorta short!
