"You know, that Pad Thai yesterday was so good." Jacob looked over his shoulder at Jase who was blushing and smiling at him all in the same time. "Thanks." Jase said turning to Jacob.

"I'm going to go the store today, need anything?" Jase asked. "I don't think so, I'll go with you though." Jase made an odd face at that comment. "What?" Jacob asked, noticing Jase's change of attitude. "Err- nothing. I-I-I-you shouldn't be going anywhere. I'm sorry. I just can't let you come with." Jase stuttered out. "I can't believe you! You-you don't want to be seen in public with me! You-I can't believe it!" Jacob had thrashed up and starting pointing and yelling at Jase who just stood there taking it all in. "No, you just-" "I just what now?" Jase sighed still staying calm. "Please, please just let me talk. Can you just listen?" Jacob hesitated before saying, "You have two minutes."

Jase was trying to catch his breath, he was starting to panic. He let out a deep breath, "You are sick." Jase was going to say more, more about how Jacob needed to rest, but he couldn't force it out. "You think I don't know this?"

They just stared at each other, each one knowing what was going through each other's minds. They knew that Jacob was sick and getting worse. They knew that Jacob was trying to pretend he wasn't, and at the end of the day he wouldn't be able to hide it.

"Come here." Jacob raised his arms around Jase and pulled him into a long hug. Jase looked up at Jacob's face and planted a kiss on his cheek. "How about you go lay down in bed and I'll go and get groceries, okay?" Jacob gave one last squeeze and they drifted out of the hug and into their separate ways. "I'll be back in thirty minutes!" Jase called out to Jacob. Jacob nodded, "Bye. Love you!"

"I love you too."
