Jocelyn's POV
-
"When we get married, we're going to have our wedding pictures taken here." Vic says softly in my ear as he rests he wraps his hands around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder.
"The view up here is absolutely beautiful." I say in awe as I look over the edge of the cliff we had stumbled upon on our journey to a friend's house. Releasing me from his arms, Vic walks in front of me, facing towards me.
"My view is much better." he says as he leans in and kisses me. Smiling in midst kiss, I move away from him and head back to our car. "We've still got about 10 minutes to go and I'm tired of being in a car so can we please just continue on and get there?" I whine to him. Plus, baby Elise was getting fussy. It's just amazing to see our little family. Makes me fall in love all over again.
Following me, he gets in the driver's side and starts the car up again. I just wasn't feeling like myself. I hadn't been for the past couple of months now and it was only getting worse.
I wouldn't mind getting in a car crash right now, I'm not scared of death. In fact, I'd rather face it right now more than anything. I think this was my mind's way of telling me that it was time to go.
That my stay in this place is about up and my time is coming to an end. But I'd have to do it myself. Quite frankly, I'm okay with that. The sooner the better. I'm only making it worse for Vic and Elise by staying.

"Finally!" Vic cries as we pull up to their house. Stepping out of the car, he stretches and yawns. "Now I'm going to bed." he jokes as he grabs his things from the backseat and begins walking up to their front door.
Following behind him, I can't help but think about the view from earlier. That's where I want to die. That's where I want to be. "Hey guys!" our friend Alex and Sydney say as he opens his door. "Come on in. Is this baby Elise!! Aww! Look I'm her uncle!"
"Hey, Alex, can I have some paper and something to write with? I thought of something in the car and I really need to write it out." I lied. That's not exactly why I needed the piece of paper.
"Uh.. Sure. Hang on a minute." exiting the room, I could hear him fumbling around for something.
"Babe, I'm going to lay down for a bit. Wake me up in an hour or so. I'm so tired from driving."
Smiling, I nod my head. "Okay, I will. Go rest." Returning the smile, he leans down and kisses me one last time.
"Vic.. I love you." I say causing his smile to widen. "I love you too." He takes Elise and I kiss her once more. I love them both so damn much.
"Here you go." Alex says as he re-enters the room with the things I had previously asked for. You can go sit at the table if you'd like. More private. You know?" he offers as he points towards the next room.
Nodding my head, I smile. Clutching the paper and pen hard in my hand, I walk to the table and sit down in a seat where I can see if someone is coming towards me.
"Hey, Jocelyn Jack and the others should be here soon so you might want to write quickly. They always make home at the table." Alex jokes with me.
"Okay, thanks." I call back to him while laughing. I hadn't seen Jack in a while. Scared.

Finishing up the letter I had just wrote to Vic, I fold it nicely and stand up, pushing in the chair behind me. Glancing in the room where Alex was, I see he had fallen asleep. Perfect timing for me.
