Summer's POV:
"Hmm, what should we do with you?" The masked man taunted.
"Please let me go." I cried. I continued to plead and beg. Obviously the water works aren't working.
"Even if I wanted to, which I don't, you are a witness and you know what they say about those.." He trailed of, making me think about all the possible ways he and his minions could torture me.
"I promise I won't tell." I could at least attempt for my freedom, I mean, what is there to lose.
"No." he snapped. Frustration and immense anger build up from deep inside as I harshly wiped away any fresh tears. No more nice girl, this bitch has attitude.
Police sirens wailed outside, making the phantom more alert and on edge.
"Let's role." he commanded. His minions scrambled on their feet, quickly approaching the back exit.
"Come on princess." He swiftly grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the exit.
"I am not your princess." I scoffed. I pushed my feet into the ground, making it harder for him to pull me. I confidently forced my clenched fist into his sturdy back. My shark-like fingernails scraped down his arm, drawing blood to the surface. I screamed and cried. I was not going down without a fight. I brought my knee to his groin, making him feel as much pain as I possibly could. He curled in a ball and I took this as my chance to run.
"George, grab her!"he screamed. Man, he's got a good pair of lungs on him.
George grabbed me by the hips and swung me over his broad shoulders.
"Put. Me. Down." I continuously pounded my fist into his back.
"I think I'll pass, I quite like the view." Even though I couldn't see his face, I knew that there is a smirk on his face. He's just one of those kind of people.
He approached the black van and shoved me into the open space. The masked man, who I still need to learn the name of, sat down besides me. The van drove quickly down the road, avoiding traffic. The police sirens got quieter as we drove off.
"Now, we can either do this the hard way or the easy way." He announced.
"How about you let me out of the van and I'll keep my mouth shut about your little crime. That way, it's a win-win situation." I retaliated. But of course, he had other plans.
"We can drug you and knock you out or put a blindfold on. Which is it gonna be?"
"Blindfold." My shoulders slumped in defeat.
"That's my princess." He smirked, obviously knowing that I don't like that name, but I obviously wasn't going to give him the satisfaction.
"I prefer the term queen, but whatever." I bluntly replied. He gently pulled the blindfold over my eyes. Pitch black. A soft hand caressed my check, making my spine tingle.
After hours of driving, a few sharp turns on the bumpy road, we came to a sudden stop.
I was pulled swiftly from the van. Gravel crunched under my combat boots as we walked. Hot air hit my face, warming my cheeks instantly.
The blindfold was removed from my face as gasps left my mouth. This place was huge. The grand chandelier was definitely my favourite. The mahogany dining set looked like it cost more than my car. Oh wow. The spotless floor was almost like a mirror and the walls were a clean white colour.
"Close your mouth princess, it's not a good look."
I ignored his comment and continued staring in awe. The rug was the shape of a polar bear and the fur looked so soft and fluffy.
I turned my head to look at the masked man.
"Can I ask you a question?" I said.
"You just did." He replied. He sniggered at his own joke while I sat there with a smug expression on my face.
"What do you want to ask?"
"What's your name?" I asked.
He removed his balaclava, damn he was hot. His head was shaved at the side and accompanied by a mop of dark curls which flopped over his forehead, almost like a fringe. His eyes were swirls of honey with dark specks of caramel. His prominent jaw line looked as sharp as a knife and his confident smirk obviously implied that he knew I was checking him out.
"People call me Matty, but you can call me tonight." He responded.
"You seriously have got to stop with all the corny pick up lines, it's not gonna change the fact that you kidnapped me and robbed a shop."
Guilt flashed in his eyes momentarily as his confident smirk fell, leaving him with an expressionless face. Blank, like a sheet of clean paper. I almost felt guilty that I made him feel like that, but let's remember the current situation. I mean, I was kidnapped for godsake!
"I'll show you to your room." he spoke expressionlessly.
I muttered a quiet okay and followed him up the grand stair case.
